SHIN YAMADA has become Celtic’s yo-yo player after the champions announced the Japanese striker would be heading out for a quickfire second loan.
The 25-year-old forward, who cost £1million when he arrived from Kawasaki Frontale a year ago, spent the second half of last season on a temporary transfer to Bundesliga second-tier side Preussen Munster.
Now Yamada has agreed a season-long switch to Belgian Pro League outfit OH Leuven, as confirmed on the club’s media channel.

The attack-leader failed to score in eight league appearances for the Hoops and moved to the German club where he claimed three goals in 10 outings, but couldn’t prevent the side from relegation to Liga 3.
He returned to Parkhead earlier this summer and netted a late penalty-kick equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Shelbourne in Dublin last week, but Martin O’Neill still gave the green light for another exit to Belgium.
Yamada still has three years to run on his Hoops contract, but it is clear he has no future at Parkhead.
