ZALUSKA LEAVES CELTIC – WE TOLD YOU FIRST!

POLISH keeper Lukasz Zaluska has left Celtic after six years at the club – as CQN Magazine predicted back at the start of February.

The 33-year-old shotstopper, who joined on a Bosman from Dundee United, is out of contract at the end the month and hasn’t been offered a new deal.

Zaluska has been back-up to Artur Boruc, Fraser Forster and Craig Gordon in his time at the SPFL champions and has managed only 51 appearances.

Fittingly, his last outing was the goalless draw at St.Johnstone in the second last game of the season where he turned in a Man of the Match performance.

Gordon will be allowed an extended break due to his Scotland international commitments when the players report back for pre-season training next week which will leave young Italian Leo Fasan in charge.

Fasan has still to make a competitive appearance and will play in the friendly against Dutch outfit Den Bosch on 1st July and Dukla Prague three days later with both games at St.Mirren Park.
