GORDON’S SCOTLAND DILEMMA

CRAIG GORDON has admitted he is still undecided about going on Scotland’s two-game summer trip to Peru and Mexico.

The Celtic keeper was out with a knee injury and missed the first two matches of Alex McLeish’s international return last month.

Hull City’s Allan McGregor replaced Gordon in the 1-0 defeat from Costa Rica at Hampden and the 1-0 win over Hungary in Budapest.

But the 35-year-old Hoops shotstopper has returned earlier than anticipated and has played in the last three outings against Dundee, Sevco Rangers and Hibs.

Gordon said: “I’ll see how the body is holding up towards the end of the season, but I’ve not played a great deal in the second part of the year.

“So, if my body’s in good enough shape, then, yes, I’ll go.

“Let’s wait and see what happens.”

The Scots are due to play Peru in Lima on May 29 and Mexico in the Azteca Arena on June 2.
