Playing well against the usual parked bus. Just wish our goals to dominance ratio was a bit better. Maybe second half………..

Not our best performance. Fisher looks a little vulnerable, Biton & Browne doing very well for us. Great goal by Stoksey, you just get the impression that Celtic’s main priority is to keep a clean sheet.

Hmmm, I wondered about that aswell. Did they just go out and buy some tickets? TBH if the club was involved I think we would have heard through the officail website as they really do need some positive publicity.

HT. Absolutely agree. The Green Brigade should either be IN or OUT if the Board are to avoid accusations of hypocrisy. They cannot allow the situation to keep changing whenever it is expedient for them to do so.
Had to laugh at Walker at one point early on when Griffiths was flagged offside. Replay showed griffiths was on side but according to Walker , LG was LEANING offside. How can your top half be offside and your bottom half onside ya numpty.

That was a penalty….whether it came off his knee, leg or erse, his hands were raised and stopped the ball heading for goal

Biton looks like a class sitting midfielder. Has provided good cover and tackles well.

Biton and Johansen are excellent .Young Fisher a wee bit lost at LB. Broonie giving the ball away too often. Stokes playing well. Be nice to see Griffiths settle in with a goal.

HT Celtic 1-0 St Johnstone
Decent first half from the Bhoys. The best feature of our play has been the workrate off the ball. StJ are well organised but they are not able to sustain any possesion because of the way they are being closed down and harried by the bhoys in green. Most dissappointing feature is the lack of scoring opportunities we have created. The goal came from a shot outside the box, Kris had a great effort off the bar from 25yds, but I don’t recall their keeper having to make a save.
Solid at the back. Virgil and Efe have May in the pockets. Adam is getting his fitness back up and Fisher looks assured after taking over from Izzy midway through the half. Fraser is a spectator.
Biton very composed in the middle. Stefan runs around a lot but I am not sure about his composure. Brown having a bit of an off-day so far and Kris playing well behind the front 2.
Up front, would like to see more from Stokes and Griffiths. To be fair, the service they have had from midfield has been poor.
Looking forward to a better 2nd half

There were hints all the week that The Green Brigade would be back. Maybe Celtic are prepared to sell them a block of tickets for individual games ( so they can monitor their behaviour) as distinct from letting them have season books for a particular section. I’m only speculating here but I hope they are back permanently and that they are in a standing section next season.
