Read this, posted by TBB yesterday, and wonder what kind of country would have a Media which would support such a Club as the one which created the need for such an article to be written:

It really is fascinating to see an entire industry sticking (or should that be bending over backwards) to a narrative because it is good for their career. On some levels I sympathise, but mostly I have nothing but disdain for them. Even our very own Gerry McCulloch…

TBB’s article is perhaps one of the most important written in relation to the LNS sham. I read it at the weekend, I just read it again there and will read again later.

It is an article that should be read by every Scottish football fan. Some may find the points a legal observations dry but the analysis is spot on and is important to understand.

Congratulations TBB on these excellent piece of work.

    BOBBY MURDOCH’S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS on 14TH AUGUST 2017 8:19 AM

They really do think that they are a law unto themselves in spite of past proven indiscretions.

Frankly , I`m enjoying their steady inexorable decline hopefully ending in oblivion.

However , they still manage to attract a big mob to their games and as long as that is the case , then they most probably have a future.

  4. So a mass walkout of sports journos happened on Friday yet it took Monday for the sports hack (sic) who wasn’t there as he’s banned to break the story. Journos fearful for their own personal safety walk out in fear of asking pertinent/wrong Qs (strike as appropriate) or not following the party like walk out in case their pretty wee faces are splashed on in-social Hun media outlets but consider this to not be news.

The Sevco parlimilitaries/terrorists fear is working. They are controlling the narrative and the only one reporting it (3 days after event).

Neil Lennon really does something to certain people, doesn’t he?

Even the most allegedly sedate, the most moderate, occasionally lose their minds when his name is dropped into conversation.

The folks at Club 1872 are not amongst that grouping.

Today they released a press release every bit as deranged as I had expected.

For a supporters organisation to launch scathing attacks on external foes is not exactly unheard of, but these folks go about it with a fury that is unsurpassed. You can tell there is spittle on their computer monitors by the time they’ve finished posting them.

They are an exercise in perma-rage.

    They are also an embarrassment.

No sane fan group which represents shareholders would release such an appalling missive as the one that was put out today.

It meets the standard we’ve come to expect from them. It reaches up for the gutter, and finds it. When hate is your default emotion this is what happens … but it is shocking, and today’s attack veers into the territory of libel.

Neil Lennon should sue over it.

These people always boast of how much money is in their account; Lennon should go for every penny of it, to at the very least secure an apology.

What makes it all the more disturbing is that Club 1872’s James Blair sits on the board of the club.

As conflicts of interest go it’s a beauty, but here it points to something disturbing; this is an all-out attack on a named individual with the imprimatur of the club. And to think this is a statement that appears to suggest Lennon should be sanctioned.

Sevco should be sanctioned for the inflammatory tone they have taken since the full time whistle went yesterday. But of course that would require action from the SFA, an organisation so spineless, that it has yet to utter a word about the golf balls and other objects thrown at Celtic players on their last visit to Ibrox, or the vile racist abuse suffered by our winger Scott Sinclair. I won’t hold my breath waiting on condemnation here.

Except for that which will inevitably be directed at Neil, of course, who I would put money on being summoned before the beaks over this. You can see it a mile away. The naked hate for this guy, the bile that follows everywhere he goes, makes it certain.

The statement accuses Neil of “playing the victim card.”

Well those at Club 1872 can certainly recognise that when they see it.

I don’t know what the Latin for “no-one likes us and by God we do a lot of moaning about it” is but those blubbering bitches should have that inscribed on their official crest. Nobody plays the victim card quite like they do, and they always seem to do it after their wee bubble of supremacy has just been burst, as it was this weekend.

I’m not saying they do it to distract from the shite they have to watch on the park, but they certainly make a habit of finding something to complain about after they’ve just been beat.

Think for a moment on the total disconnect with reality it takes to make Neil Lennon the villain here when their fans spent the entire match – and, in fact, weeks before it – spewing poison at him. Their “feel sorry for us, we’re the real victims here” attitude is nauseating and pathetic.

In contrast, Neil Lennon is a guy who never feels sorry for himself.

    He does not hide.

As I said yesterday, that guy puts up with stuff no-one in Scottish football has ever had to endure before, and he handles it with courage the gutless wonders who criticise him from behind a monitor would never be able to muster in their lives.

The bigoted yahoos who spent all day yesterday pouring their vile abuse on Lennon’s head are also the most offended that he got it right round them.

But the tone of this piece today is shocking, and if I were Lennon, reading it, I would be sending it on to a lawyer for his review.

This guy has endured bullets and bombs.

He’s been attacked by a fan standing on the touchline doing his job.

Neil Lennon doesn’t have to play the victim card; you can inspire lunacy in some people merely saying his name.

Today, as before, the whole Celtic Family should be united in its support for him.

Today, as before, we are all Neil Francis Lennon.

I call them reporters because they are not journalists in the true sense of the word. Craven cowards is what they are…all of them. No exceptions. Spiers, McCulloch and McGoblin…not even one of them will break ranks and denounce the treatment of Neil Lennon. Speak to them and they will tell you what a great guy Neil is. Watch and listen to them whilst interviewing him…”Thanks Neil – All the best Neil – Good luck on Saturday Neil” …and then when his back is turned they shaft him…effing hypocrites!

  11. Things must be so bad at sevco for the Press to walk out!

Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un would fit right into the mad world of Scottish football – Keith Jackson

Rangers turning the cameras on journalists is a sinister move.

    BY KEITH JACKSON

Just because Donald Trump has a stubby, stunted finger hovering over a fat red button, it doesn’t necessarily follow that the end has to be nigh for the rest of us.

Nor for that matter, must we accept as inevitable the thermo nuclear destruction of the planet just because in the similarly absurd Kim Jong-un, Trump is pitting his peroxide steeped wits against a nemesis who displays even less of a grip on reality than the moron in the White House and his candy floss wig.

Rangers aren’t the finished article and we’ll keep improving – Danny Wilson

Meanwhile, the rest of us are left to watch this ludicrous double act threaten our own existence and to wonder how on earth we allowed ourselves to get to such place, where the lunatics are not only in charge of the asylum but ready to blow it to smithereens.

So we distract ourselves for as long as possible in whichever way we can.

The hopeless pessimists drink to forget as if there really is no tomorrow. The hopeless optimists go the gym while, in their sweaty folly, refusing to acknowledge the possibility that there might not be.

And some of us go the football.

Well, those of us who have not yet been banned from doing so.

And it’s only then that the thought occurs. Perhaps this despotic double act of Trump and Kim have missed their true vocation.

Maybe they belong right here in the madhouse of Scottish football. Perhaps they would take one look at what goes on in this country’s top flight – and some of the characters who thrive in this environment – and realise that their own narcissistic tendencies are strictly second division by comparison.

Yes, Trump might sit on a toilet seat made of 24 carat gold, plotting the end of civilisation as the world falls out of his bottom. True, Kim may be aiming his entire arsenal at all points from Guam to Guantanamo Bay while not being sure if they will clear the fence at the end of his own back garden.

But they wouldn’t know Armageddon if it smashed them in the face. Isn’t that right Mr Regan?

Because less than a fortnight into a new season and our own lot have unleashed the kind of chaos that would make Trump and Kim blush and plead for a moment of calm reflection.

In the space of just 10 days we’ve already had a flurry of red cards – there were six on Saturday alone one of which was handed out after Kirk Broadfoot tugged on a rival striker’s top knot.

We’ve had all manner of managerial spats including the likes of Jon Daly, Brendan Rodgers, Derek McInnes and Martin Canning – as well as Saturday’s rammy between Pedro Caixinha and Neil Lennon which saw the Hibs boss being reported to the police.

One manager has been sacked already, while one club’s chairman has been the subject of an alleged assault.

Among all this anger and bad blood, we’ve had calls for this newspaper to be boycotted by a group of Rangers fans which is precisely the sort of thing Trump would have endorsed.

And, not unrelated, there have been some other highly curious goings on concerning the media at Murray Park, where Rangers have started training their own cameras on the press men who are despatched there to ask questions of manager Pedro Caixinha on behalf of their respective readerships.

There is a sinister sub text to all of this. Ask anything too difficult and the club reserves the right to put it up online in order that the support can act as judge and jury.

Again, this sort of intimidatory tactic will be right up Jong-un’s street but it does not reflect well at all on those who are making decisions on Rangers behalf.

It resulted in a mass walk out of football writers from Caixinha’s pre-match briefing ahead of Saturday’s visit from Hibs and it will most likely happen all over again when the media are ‘welcomed’ back to preview this weekend’s lip smacker of a match up with Hearts.

Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha shouts instructions to his side during the 3-2 defeat to Hibs

    E

Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha needs to earn respect – big match verdict

As if Rangers – and Caixinha – don’t have enough on their collective plate without going out of their way to look for fights because already this next league encounter looks very much like a must-win match for a manager who has never been too far from the firing line since his arrival here.

If there are people around him who are pressing his buttons and abusing their own positions in the process then he should be smart enough to identify them and to keep a safe distance.

Because right now Caixinha appears to be taking in all manner of bad advice.

On Saturday, after losing his first match of the season just two games into the new campaign, he lashed out at Lennon while also depicting himself as some sort of outcast in Scottish football although quite why he feels so put upon or victimised remains something of a mystery.

All this stuff might strike a chord with those among the Ibrox hardcore who dislike Lennon or who wilfully dismiss any sort of criticism of Caixinha as xenophobic axe grinding.

But the more salient Rangers observers will have greater concerns about the manager’s failure to reorganise his team properly following Ryan Jack’s red card.

By leaving two men up front he allowed Hibs to dominate the middle of the pitch and as a result Rangers resorted to shelling long hopeful punts up the park in the off chance that they might benefit from the break of a ball. Lennon wasn’t just outraging him and assistant Helder Baptista. He was outmanoeuvring them.

The bottom line here in all of this is that Caixinha has already lost his first three points of the season – weeks after overseeing arguably the worst European humiliation in the history of Scottish football. He can stamp his feet until he’s blue in the face but in this game respect has to be earned.

Should Caixinha suffer a similar fate next time out at home to Edinburgh’s other half, then he’ll need a great deal more than just handily placed pantomime villain to take the heat off. And we’re only two games into a new season.

Yes, all things considered, it really has been an explosive beginning to the latest instalment of Scottish football’s never ending soap opera. Trump and Kim will fit right in.

But for now – or at least until they get here – let’s hope it’s just the game that’s back with a bang.

  12. John The Plagiarist riding on the coat-tails of TBB’s hard work and takes 17 paragraphs to cite the source of his plagiarised article.

  13. In an attempt to figure out why ( as it appears to me) the hun support etc are worse than, I have came to the conclusion that it “Sheer Utter Panic” within their ranks.

I only offer this up as a suggestion because their DNA makes the way they are, but I feel that they , despite their public delusions of still being the same club, having a very good team at this moment, Pedro is the man to lead the peepul, titles will not be stripped etc etc, many of THEM are seriously and privately scared ?

Privately, they are scared of titles being stripped, also with the cheating and corruption being properly penalised, likewise that their team are no better than last seasons, therefore they do ( Privately) realise that Pedro and his Paupers are largely DUDs.

If or WHEN Pedro is seriously found out ( I believe that to be the case already), the Hun support refuse to accept it in public, as they know that for THEM, they are in the last chance saloon, and are desperate for Pedro to turn things around and at least challenge Aberdeen.

There’s nothing wrong in wishing your team does well, but when it leads to the extreme delusional statements that we are hearing/reading on a daily basis from anyone associated with THEM, as well in the increased violent, racist/bigoted conduct of their support ( which once again appears to be condoned from the Ipox boardroom), it clearly shows that they ( once again) are prepared to blame EVERYONE except themselves for ALL that continues to go wrong for Sevco.

I vividly remember Martin Bain and the Ipox head of security being interviewed by BBC/STV trackside at Ipox the morning after Manchester was raped and pillaged.

Bain claimed to the interviewers ” Not one of those arrested last night in Manchester, have Scottish address’s”

That LIE by Bain says it all really I suppose ?

Dear God,is Keith actually bad mouthing the Fat Controller?.Not a word from any of the useless Tom Hanks who like to call themselves,”Football Journalists”,on the shocking scenes from the home of the Hun on Saturday.Bigotry,Sectarianism,Racism, raining down from just about the whole stadium on the head of Neil Lennon. Our fans have a weeks bad press for a banner, but the vilest of behaviour goes unmentioned.Much more interested that Lenny cupped his ears to the ,foaming at the mouth, slabbering hordes, and what his punishment might be.You know, after having to up sticks and leave the Hun press conference on Friday, you would think one of them would have the cohones to speak the truth. Not a bit of it.

So much to report from this piggery, and they turn a blind eye.Another pitch invasion, objects again being thrown at opposition players, and all this trying to be stemmed by the Hun version of “Dads Army”stewards.

Unlicensed Huns with yellow jackets too busy watching the game. How this is allowed by the licensing board is beyond me.The 1st player injured will have a stone wall case to take this abomination of a club for their lot.

I am equally shocked at Hibs for not commenting on the atrocious behaviour aimed at their manager and certain players.Gutless.

What difficult questions were the press asking at Auchenhowie?

Traynor must fear for his retirement plan as he knows there’s only so many times the Rangers support can be duped. Even the press have turned on him.

Caixhina can’t afford to go 6 points behind. Not that in real terms they shouldn’t go 6 points behind it’s the expectation. If Caixhina could have staved off the wheels coming off for a few more weeks he could have added a few games to his tenure.
