RED! RED! RED! CLANCY IS CUP FINAL REF WITH ROARING ROSS ON THE LINE

KEVIN CLANCY will be in charge of Celtic’s Scottish Cup Final clash against Motherwell at Hampden a week on Saturday.

The 34-year-old will be the man in the middle as the Hoops aim to complete an unprecedented double treble.

Clancy will be assisted by Douglas Ross, the Tory MP who infuriated Parkhead fans when he was caught on camera shouting “red, red, red” before Jozo Simunovic was sent off with over half-an-hour to play in the Premiership tussle at Ibrox in March.

The score stood at 2-2 at the time, but Rodgers pulled off a masterstroke by introducing Odsonne Edouard as a substitute and the 20-year-old French ace scored the winning goal.

Brendan Rodgers’s men played the Fir Park outfit in the League Cup Final earlier in the season when goals from James Forrest and Moussa Dembele (pen) gave them a 2-0 success as they retained the trophy.
