CONFIRMED: SAME AGAIN CELTS

ANGE POSTECOGLOU has given the nod to last week’s starting line-up in the 3-1 win over Ross County for the High Noon showdown with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park today.

The Celtic boss names the same squad – including the stand-by pool of players – for the second consecutive week as he aims for a third successive victory in defence of the Premiership title.

Liel Abada made an impact against the Highlanders when he replaced the injured Daizen Maeda at the the interval and scored a superb clinching third goal, but the Israeli winger is again on the bench with the pacy Japanese raider starting against Derek McInnes’ newly-promoted outfit.

KYOGO THE FIRST…the Japanese striker celebrates his opening goal of the campaign along with Josip Juranovic and Filipe Jota in Dingwall last weekend.

The champions had the perfect start to the new crusade with a 2-0 win over Aberdeen at a sold-out Parkhead when Stephen Welsh and Filipe Jota claimed the goals and it was the turn of Kyogo Furuhashi, last season’s top scorer with 20 goals, on-loan Moritz Jenz and Abada to get the crucial strikes against Malky Mackay’s men.

TEAM: Hart; Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Jenz, Taylor; O’Riley, McGregor, Turnbull; Jota, Kyogo, Maeda. Subs: Siegrist, Ralston, Bernabei, Starfelt, Mooy, McCarthy, Abada, Forrest and Giakoumakis.
