Our biggest concern for the run-in must be the period where Celtic have been unable to control the middle of the park in our four games this month. For at least half the games against Newco, St Mirren and Aberdeen, ball progression was poor.
Sunday’s second half at Dundee started in the same manner. The thought crossed my mind that Tony Doherty had figured us out, a notion I also had during the second period at Ibrox. Is overloading central mid enough to stop Celtic?
Play changed on Sunday when Tomoki Iwata replaced Callum McGregor and Adam Idah came on for Kyogo, but I think an assumption that the problem lies with Callum’s fitness is too convenient.
Adam was able to collect and retain forward passes, giving options to the midfield that were not there with Kyogo. This resolved the problem until after Dundee’s fortuitous goal, which pivoted play one more time.
Each of the four sides we have left in the league this season have been able to knock us off our game for a spell. Kilmarnock and Hearts have been remarkably successful. All four will face Celtic with a plan for our midfield; getting the better of them should be Brendan Rodgers’ priority.

I am more confident in us winning the League than I am about playing good golf this morning in a misty Arbroath.

PS Instead of adding to the negativity of the MSSM re Celtic, I feel all the support should speak about the positives of our team until the title is won.
The effect of positive blogs can seep into the crowd who would then respond accordingly at games and that can certainly help our team.

I WAS in receipt of the DWP ” PIP” for some time due to my disabilities, however a few months ago, my ” PIP” Claim was “Transferred” to SSS ADP, who pay me every Four weeks.
SSS ADP….is SOCIAL SECURITY SCOTLAND…ADULT DISABILITY PAYMENT, so it is the SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT that pay me every Four weeks.
Are the TORY plans to ONLY Apply to ENGLAND and WALES ….and NOT Scotland ?
Will the TORY Government plans NOT APPLY to people like me due to me being Scottish and living in Scotland etc ?

the bar will be open at 11 but you need a match ticket to get in.
and it shuts during the game.

I would replace Callum with Iwata and I would consider Narocki for a run out as he may be needed.
We must use our squad to replace tiring players or players playing through injury. We have a better bench than Killie, Hearts and St. Mirren for sure and I believe most of us believe we have a better bench than Sevco- so let’s use it. Callum & Jamesie don’t look like 90 minute effective players recently. Hatate used to be a regular subbed player but is now being expected to last 90- and even Matt, who has the fitness, can have matches where he tails off.
Do not make the Strachan mistake of running the regular starting 11 players into the ground and repeating the 0:0 at Easter Road in May 2009.
