Good performance from Lustig today; he was winning the ball high up the pitch and making some good runs that was creating space for other players though we didn’t have the midfielder on the ball who could play him in.
Ambrose’s distribution out of defence is a real positive and gives us more pace in the centre; that could be the pairing for the CL match mid-week; Wilson and Ambrose.
We’ve been on the wrong side of a few banana-skins
up there before so, ghood to get away unscathed.

Well done to all those who have battled through to the next round of the Cup – including Clachnacuddin, Deveronvale, Huntly, Sevco ……… All no doubt hoping for one of the big teams in the next round!
Edinburgh City and Nairn County both beating league sides in the cup today.
Meanwhile it looks like the Zombies squeaked past the Mechanics.
The scoreline is a poor indicator to just how dominant we were in that second half, in particular BEFORE they went down to 10 men.
Slightly miffed not to see the goalfest I was hoping for prior to the match but I’m thrilled and full of confidence on the back of the team’s performance today.
Mentioned Commons, Broony & Hooper at half time but the whole team were good today. Lustig, Forrest, Ambrose, Izzy, Sammy & Miku when they came on were other noteworthy performances. Victor much better second half.
Big Frazer, nothing to do really. Clean sheet as I expected.
And no apparent injuries for Moscow.

Must easily rank as the heaviest 2-0 hammering I’ve seen Celtic dish out.
Very much back to their better form, and how it remained on only two is a mystery.
Celtic strolled it, and Motherwell were completely outclassed from start to finish.
Forster, Ambrose,Wilson, Lustig, and an Izzy were never troubled and nearly immaculate in defence, Wanyama Mulgrew were superb in midfield, as was Commons. Scott Brown was arrogant and in their face, but should have had the grace to pass on the penalty taking.
Hooper’s touch has returned to it’s best, Miku played well when he came on, and Sammi could have finished with a substitutes hat trick.
James Forrest’s miraclulous escape from the hook continues perhaps in the hope that NL will get an end result from the young raw, but naive talent.
Well done Celtic bring Spartak.

If you canny figure that one out,I fear for your chances in the quiz!
Great performance by every player, could have played without a goalie today and still have won. Motherwell lucky not to have been totally humiliated today, goal wise. Roll on Tuesday night, I arrive in Munich at 5pm German time which does not give me much time to get to the pub for the start of the game. Ideally a victory on Tuesday night followed by a visit to the Oktoberfest immediately after the game.
On another note, if I were Adam Cummins I would stay off my Twitter page for a couple of days because I’m sure CQN’s Notthebus and one or two others will totally slaughter him after today’s og and the sending off, lol.
Well the daughter is over from UK to celebrate her birthday, tomorrow, so out tonight with her for a wee celebration, also local pub which is almost in my back garden closes it’s doors tonight so will finish off there.
