We’ve seen a few difficult games against Hamilton Accies in recent years, including what proved to be a costly draw after being denied a late winner at New Douglas Park, but we’ve never met them in this form.
Hamilton have the longest unbeaten run in Scotland. They lost their opening league game of the season, at home to Inverness, but have won seven and drawn two of their subsequent nine games. Their 0-4 win away to Motherwell last week was a display of sharp, organised football – and remember, Motherwell took at point at Celtic Park the previous weekend.
Alex Neil will have no intentions of leaving pointless tomorrow. This is the game he and his players will have been waiting for since the fixtures were announced four months ago. Their four SPLF away games: wins at St Mirren, Partick and Motherwell, and a draw at Tannadice, has been preparation for Celtic Park.
If Celtic have a Europa League hangover, Accies will boss them. Forget the lowly status of the club, respect is needed if we are the get the desired result and performance required.
I’m running the Great Scottish Run in aid of Celtic Foundation tomorrow morning, which presents a, erm, personal hygiene challenge for the game. It’ll be a full can of deodorant day. If you have a £1 or two for the fundraising, you can help here.

Isn’t it great to know that we are a British club and should press our politicians for inclusion into the epl as we’re British. Does this mean we should stop singing the Celtic song and adopt a British anthem like On Ilkla Moor Baht ‘at

What’s the point of using ‘ b”’tards’, when you’ve already said ‘bastards’?
burst discs and sciatica…gout too…….drink cherry juice for the gout, still get a tingle in the toe but not as bad as it was….

…………
That’s shocking dialogue.
Thankfully I can still go to a bar here and watch the footer without any bother, both sets of fans drinking to their hearts content, one team loses still no bother, handshakes and tears all round.
Same can’t be said for the bigger towns and cities mind you.

Eddieinkirkmichael….
I understand post referendum disappointment from what was a very passionate Yes Campaign. This disappointment even turns to blame, recrimination and anger from some people….I can understand and even empathise to a certain extent.
I do not believe for a minute that you wish a painful death to anyone over 55 that voted No.
Hi Jobo
Hope you find Deniabhoy. Denia is a must. You will love the wee place. There’s a Dutch type restaurant on an angle in the old town. The Mussels are to die for. Take the narrow gauge to Valencia, or south to Benidorm but stick to the old town. The railway stations have nice bars, so it does not really matter when you turn up, always time for a wee cerveza y tapas before the train comes. I wish I could remember the name of the Scots/Irish bar just off the main promenade in Benidorm, famous for serving pies at half time. Although I loved it, I would suggest you avoid the wee wooden shack at the north end of the promenade in Calpe. She makes wonderful Mojitos for 3 euros. A great way to start the day!!!
Buena suerte mi amigo.

Despite being under 55 and also a guy who voted ‘yes’ I think that your outburst is extremely distasteful and not what I’d expect from a CQN’r.

Seriously tho, it’s the change season, lots of rain, you may well be fine and miss it, whatever, there is a high chance of rain, tis the way it is at this time of year.
We had rain last week for the first time in 3+ months, we will get rain for the next few months, and we won’t get any for the next few months, etc, etc, it happens every year.
Next time you are thinking of a hol here, there are caves for rent even cheaper than you are paying, they are an experience to behold, but you will be in the sticks, tis the only drawback, still much to do tho, and as ever, totally hun free >}

I’m one of the 45 per cent and extremely proud of it.

My friend, I did see your earlier post – the unthank road at 21:57 on 1 October, 2014 – which I copied and saved and it was one of the reasons we finally committed to Calpe! But thanks for the almost word for word repeat recommendation!
Can’t wait!
Only downside is I think I’ll be missing the Scotland game ;-)

By their votes they will ensure that some of our population will die painful deaths so why not wish it back on them?
