CELTIC GAME SWITCH

CELTIC’S Premiership game against Hamilton Accies has been moved back 24 hours to accommodate the Hoops’ involvement in the Europa League play-off.

The Champions League exit in Athens last night means Brendan Rodgers’ men will now face a Thursday night European clash rather than playing on Tuesday or Wednesday.

As a result of the champions playing later in the week, the SPFL have switched the match against Accies with a 3pm kick-off to Sunday August 26, a day later than originally planned.

Celtic’s possible further involvement in the Europa League could lead to more games being rescheduled.
