Some good play but team looking a little unfamiliar at times

Decent first half performance from the Bhoys. The movement has been good through defense and midfield but we have failed to connect with the front two. Most of our opportunities have come from deep runs from Virgil, Commons and McGregor.
Good to see Broonie back. He started brilliantly but maybe tired a bit. Our central defense with Denayer and Virgil looks great, especially breaking forward. Efe has made some errors in possession. He seems to get caught out too often which will be a worry for Ronnie. Glad we have such good back up for the right back spot.
Our new Bhoys up front need time to settle in and get used to the style of play. We missed Stokesie’s link up play with the midfield, but the new players need games to adapt.
Aberdeen, despite being under pressure for long periods have denied us a second goal and remain dangerous. We will need another goal or two to make this game safe.
Overall a decent performance.

Cracking first half. Kris looks like he is hitting his straps at last. Is there a better defensive pairing than VVD and Denayer. Both athletic, fast, strong and football players. Love it.
