    We were slack for 15 minutes after we scored,game too stretched,we need to make pitch shorter at times,and get Bitton on when we’re trying to see a game out,Big Jullien will be a top player for us

    That team formation would have seen off Cluj . A very solid performance with some wonderful passing and possession esp first half . Took our foot off their necks after we scored and it took a while to build up a head of steam again . AIK are not a great side but well marshalled and resolute in defence , which is about all they did tonight.

     

    They have to come out a bit more next week , so I’m confident we’ll get at least a goal over there which should wrap things up .

     

    All in all , last week’s wounds (which were still bleeding on Saturday) seem to be healing.

    Boli is obviously this years escaped goat,

     

    had a decent game tonight and his run led to the first goal,

     

    certainly wasnt the only one to misplace a pass, and was looking

     

    for the ball the whole night

    Good performance this evening.. Boli did ok , he did not hide, still very rough around the edges but a big thumbs up tonight. Julien was good, he will get better. We moved the ball well and were aggressive. Edouard, Ajer, Christie just sublime. Jamesy very good again. Brown better with Cal in beside him. Ntcham bossing people. Mikey good. Gordon redundant. AIK poor.

     

     

    Very much job done.

    No failures tonight . Top marks for manager and players . Sterner tests await but I’m heartened by what I saw of Big Julie and Boli .The fiest of 4 crucial games on the trot negotiated convincingly . I’ve a feeling it can only get better.

    I just cant imagine a team with Edouard, Christie, Johnston, McGregor, Ajer and Forrest losing the league

     

     

    It would need to be a f*ck up of epic proportions

    Boli did fine. Set up a great chance for Mikey first half superb pull back from the end line, & also started move for first goal.

     

    He tries his nuts off, God Loves a trier and so do I, needs defensive coaching OK, maybe another winger in the making. Ajer is immense, Eddie is awsome, Julien will become a legend, as will Mikey, we still need 3 or 4 in but we are no a bad team.

     

    Keep it simple Lenny it’s not about getting the best eleven players on the pitch it’s about getting the best team on.

    Julien…. Haven’t seen all his games for us but from what I’ve seen we shouldn’t have any worries he’ll be a goid player especially when he really settles.

     

    Boli…. Still nervous but well done

     

    Mikey… Bravery, skill and playing for the team… Brilliant

     

    Edouard…. What a player….. And like Dembele it’s always big goals

     

    Lenny… Teams attitude was spot on

    Great to see the bhoys have put the omens of last week behind them. The added bonus of a clean sheet will do wonders for the teams confidence in the up & coming games. Hopefully this is new trend for the foreseeable future

    Bolingoli made less mistakes than Broonie did, quite a few less.

     

    Watch the game again and count them, then come back on and slag this seasons whipping bhoy.

    Bolingoli doesn’t hide, and has some decent attributes offensively.

     

     

    Corkcelt rightly pointed to a nice cut back to Mikey.

     

     

    He also had 2 horrendous crosses in great positions that got no where near a Celtic player.

     

     

    He also gave the ball away cheaply on occasions and was woefully short with a pass that was nearly costly.

     

     

    My overall impression is he will be fine when on top against teams inferior to us.

     

     

    Against better teams in Europe and Ibrox, tynecastle, Easter Road, Pittodrie, this guy will cost us.

     

     

    Technically poor with plenty of mistakes, that’s something that would take years to Coach out and eradicate, if ever.

     

    It’s easy to defend on the back of a victory but he will definitely cost us, its guaranteed unfortunately.

    Eddie and big Kris were great tonight. Julien very strong in the air but he looks nervous on the ground. Neil just needs to tell him to settle down and play the easy pass. Broonie a bit out of sorts for me but he deserves the odd quiet game. Mikey did well. All in all a good performance and result. A result next week will allow the fans to settle down knowing we have European footie until at least Xmas. This will allow the players to get back to what they do best. Winning in style.

    Just back and reading back – very enjoyable night.

     

     

    Very decent performances and a thrilling game at times.

     

     

    Surprised no mention of Big Jozo – best centre back on show tonight, we thought.

    Saw the first half of the Huns, wanted to see them against a decent team, to gauge their standard.

     

     

    Anyone who can’t see an improvement is kidding themselves on.

     

     

    From hammering them 5 nil in April 2018 to now, imo you’d be lucky to get a fag paper between the two teams.

     

     

    I can’t see us winning at Ibrox, think they will bully us physically.

     

     

    Now either Gerrard is a genius or our CEO is failing badly which has allowed the gap to be closed.

     

     

    I think its a bit of both they have improved we have regressed.

     

     

    Let’s hope we can get some quality in, its definitely needed, LB, centre mid and striker of quality, spend money on a striker, a game changing position.
