The poor domestic home form is a concern but I’m confident that the right formula will be found. All will be forgiven if we get a result on Wednesday that gets us through to the last 16 of the Champions League. We can then fully focus on domestic matters for a while.

I thought over the play was decent enough except in the box and there were some superb moments of individual skill especially from Ibrahim and McGeoch. if we had been a bit more composed in front of goal would have been different. And, although his over all play was good Watt needs to learn to be a bit less selfish.
Final ball into the box was often wayward, but plenty of effort and endeavour, just no cutting edge.
Well done to Arbroath, they played well and deserve the replay.

Although its cold comfort we live to fight another day.Todays game shows how difficult it will be to get a clean sweep of domestic honours some how we dont have a winning mentality Kilmarnock,St Johnstone,Inverness and Arbroath have high lighted that teams coming to Celtic park dont fear us like they did in the past.The players report card should be marked as could do better the managers report card should be marked as could do better.H.H.
I think once the CL is done with we’ll evaluate the team properly, not a criticism of the manager or players as we can all see they are an excellent bunch of young players.
However they play some gawd awful football which isn’t right, I expect a Celtic striker to have at least 5 shot on target each home game, 3 shots on target from the whole team is not right.
I’m sure Lenny will fix it.

Sorry but there is absolutley not an excuse why we can not beat Arbroath at Celtic Park,and there is no way i am going to blame Neil Lennon in any of this.If i turned up at my work and continually did not work to my capabilities i would be out the door.We had a team on the park today that was loaded with international caps and i hope everyone of them looks in the mirror tonight

Poor result today, but I’m sure Lenny will see where the problem lyes and make moves to sort the issues. Yes I have been very annoyed with the home form as I have not missed a home league game (st) and it is very frustrating to see the away performances which are generally good to very good. Howeva, in the Gaffer I trust and he will get it right.

Once europe is put to bed for winter its still the same players, the same manager and the same tactics. We have no plan b at home because our players are all too similar. We need a playmaker and/or a winger, someone who can stretch a massed defence.

Personally think we are to slow, that coupled with a staid midfield makes us predictable and easy to defend against.
How many went to the game today. I could have counted the numbers in the Celtic end and there were even less in the Lisbon Lions !

Ok we all expected a romp today which did not come as we are too deliberate at times instead of just getting a shot in when we can.
Ibrahim had lovely touches at times but too many too often for me and also looks too lightweight for the long haul.
Clearly Wednesday is the game we all want and as long as the Spartak keeper is not as good as Arbroath’s then we will be ok.
Never a freekick against Rogne for their equalizer but as long as we keep the game one goal from the opposition then that may happen.
At least Izzy got back in time and could well play on Wednesday now.
Sammy to be the man again against Spartak and if Joe Ledley is available he will ensure they are not allowed to play their game.

Fair enough. Lenny does seem to like his particular mould of player though. It’s telling he won’t ‘carry’ a McCourt type player.
Scarey thing is I didn’t expect a romp today, or that I was surprised at the draw.
We aren’t a good team, I know shock horror abuse me, but really we are very good in Europe cos it’s easy stuff, defend deep chase ball don’t concede. Once we are asked to attack we are shocking.
We can hope to win a game.
We can expect to win a game.
We can pray that we will win a game.
What we cannot do is to DEMAND that we win a game.
WE are Celtic.
We LOVE the underdog having HIS day.

Dreadful performance again and our manager sounds arrogant when asked about it.

There will also be supporters from across the UK and Ireland who will now have to try and cancel travel plans for the now cancelled home game with DU on the 12th

We do have creative players but i believe they are negated by a very conservative playing system.
Our obsession with possession is ridiculous considering most of it is in non threatening areas.
Our chances to possession ratio shows how silly this obsession is.
The players rarely leave their designated area so our lack of movement leaves our players with few options but backwards and sideways.
Our opponents have all the time in the world to set defensively because of this and since none of our centre mids drive into positive zones their defenders never have to adjust giving them an easy day
We are a very boring football team to watch
