Classy performance for Celtic on a very fitting Bunnet day, with the first signs of Spring also at Celtic Park.
A surprisingly for John Hughes, undefensive side who haven’t been beaten for weeks, were thrashed by Celtic who invaded the expanse we didn’t get against Aberdeen. Griffiths (the greyhound) and Stokes combined well all afternoon, and it could have been close to double figures.
Once again Nir Biton strolled it, and oozed pedigree in his rightful place in the Hoops stroking the ball, and showing combative qualities when required. There were no off form players in the Celtic side, and though very difficult Ambrose managed to out perform Van Dyjk, and swept away any infrequent ICT breaks, whilst retaining immaculate control thoughout.
NFL rested Johannsen and allowed Forrest’s running power to trouble ICT for minutes and released goalscorer supreme Commons on for a trademark goal aided by the ICT keeper.
Griffiths, again showed why Celtic know better, on how to snap a bargain, and the striker could easily have had five in the onion bag, on another day.
A quiet 5-0 at Celtic Park where the stadium noticeably populated by paramount Celtic supporters.
Just back in. Great day to be at Celtic Park. Brian Quinn well received; his tribute to the Bunnet well received; Leigh Griffiths looking like a real find and Nil Biton looking every inch the new George Connolly. Brilliant. Oh, and we won 5-0. Should have been about 8, of course.
Cannot argue with the result and the manner in which it was achieved, brilliant stuff.
A big, big but, though, why were Balde and Pukki and some of the young guns not used.
We all know more or less what the strongest team is but we have to be trying out subs and their effect on the team. We are going to lose Forster, Virgil and possibly on e or two others in the summer so we should be trying out their replacements surely!!!!!
I’m not a moaner at all but come on Neil FFS smell the inevitable and try out the young bhoys.

Betvictor were only laying up to -3 mate,I probably would have had £50 on -4 if it was available.
Can’t be greedy though.
No radio,tv or anything, just the updates on CQN to sweat it in.
I’m not the only one surely to suggest that Charlie Adam is an animal, he should have been off today ( again) . He is a disgrace and I’m surprised he gets a game for Stoke. Mark Hughes;s team are all a bit handy in the physical department and I hope they go down!
On the subject of our midfield as so beautifully described by my old pal KoJo, what he meant to say I am sure is that we URGENTLY need a creative middy and I would replace Broony with him. OK, we need stoppers but we need creators! We all know the types I’m on about, Lubo, Messi, Ozil, Iniesta, Villa etc . Maybe Crosas would fit the bill!!

Sons of Redgrave spokesman on Shortbread suggesting Zombies set the terms on how to pay for the ole season tickets.
The idea is Sevco take the money on a weekly basis and that way the Zombies control what happens to the cash.
Worryingly, he didn’t sound drunk. This is their actual plan.
As the ole saying goes: ‘you don’t have to be mad to be a Zombie spokesman, but it helps’.
