Signing event in Stirling
Joe Miller will be at Waterstones in Stirling tomorrow (Thurs) from 5pm to sign copies of Caesar and the Assassin, Billy McNeill and Davie Hay’s account of managing Celtic from 1978 to 1991, told in their own words to Alex Gordon.
Joe is a great character who worked under McNeill, Hay and Alex Ferguson, and now heads the Celtic Former Players Association. If you’re in the Stirling area, get along and bring your camera.

I’m almost 50, and my better half says I’m still a work in progress….so, I can give RD a few more weeks!

Playing well, few losses of concentration by everyone except the keeper thankfully, big Effe has been MotM so far.
They are defending well and willing to chase a goal when they get the chance, I like us trying to walk the ball into the net, we’ve been trying to beat 10 & 11 man defences for years, I’d like to see Ronny crack it.
No Biton, mulgrew is worse than a man short in these games. No need to defend so all he does is stop any momentum… JG in box on his own when Tonev looks to cross. Get Mulgrew off…push stokes in middle and push full backs up

Celtic girls teams doing laps of honour having won Scottsh Cups at U13 and U15 level. Celtic Women first team has a way to go to be best in Scotland but expect improvement in new season which begins in March.
Re tonight should be 2 or 3 up at half time.

I thought NB played well in that role on the weekend… why not give him another start when he showed promise (instead of someone we really know isn’t suited to that role), and why spend money on bringing in someone when we already paid good money for NB and he may be able to do the job for us?

We were at our most impressive and consistent last year when Lennon played a diamond shape midfield…. Bitton sitting, Brown and Johansen in the middle, and Commons just off a front 2…. Which 2nd half of last season was Stokes + Griffiths
