It’s the London Marathon today and Gillian McKinlay is running for the Andrea Kearney Fund, the only organisation in the UK setup to help pregnant women with cancer.

The stories behind this fund are sobering.  You can support them here.

  1. Good first half, should have pressed our advantage more and got a second, most joy coming from Paddys side, need to exploit that more. Still I’ll take that so far.

  2. We need to be more clinical.

    They are awful.

If the new wonderkids are the best their academy can produce they are in trouble.

A tolerant ref helps keep them in match.

They could easily have been down to 9 if the rules applied

  3. thomthethim for Oscar OK on

Total dominance not reflected on the score board.

Walkers idea of “getting closer to the Celtic players”, being adopted all over the park, with the yellow cards, two of which should have been red, as proof of their tactics.

Want/need another couple of goals, though.

  4. patmcgrathtakesapenalty on

Pedro will not get the opportunity to tell them they are meant to kick or head the spherical object into the net at the other end.

I wish we were more than one ahead, of course, so that I could sit back a little, but our domination is impressive. SS and PR are showing their skills and hurting them.

  5. I don’t think we even conceded a free kick in that first half.

We do need that second goal though.

  6. Oh Hampden in the sun

    Celtic one Sevco none.

Looking forward to seeing the bjoys hitting into our end. We’re comfortably ahead of the new club, whose supporters staunch display of the Petrofac cup can’t even raise a sectarian ditty.

BR tweaked the team sheet and the gap is evident.

  7. glendalystonsils on

Not got the goals our dominance deserves, hope we can put that right in the second half.

Keep giving the ball to Paddy and there’s no way they will finish with 11 on the park. Halliday should have been off after 3 mins, a red card is a red card no matter when it happens in a game.

Watching with the sound down because I can’t stand Walker and Crocker talking up the huns at every opportunity.

  8. they are scared of wee Paddy. Only a matter of time for a red over on that wing. We should be more than one up with all the possession (75% according to the Beeb). one goal is too slender a lead against this mob. Zero fouls. Disiplined or what

  9. THAI TIM JIM on 23RD APRIL 2017 12:50 PM

    ‘GG 75% according to BBC

And that is with their possession when we were a man down with for Leigh

That is as good a performance at Hampden from Celtic I can remember.

The brilliance of this team is there to see.

It’s a shame aboout Moussa. He was causing them no end of worries.

We should be facing 9 men here. Those tackles were disgusting. Collum less than useless.

Celtic need to put their dominance into goals. It was the same last week. Miles ahead and then something happened that is out of the ordinary. You can see Collum doing something before the end of the game or one of their lot cheating.

    Give us goals Celtic.

  11. We need an early second half goal tompress home our advantage. A few through balls to force their defenders into a race with Griff and Sinclair. We should be playing against 9 men. Halliday and Beerman should have both seen reds for their first challenges. Beerman absolutely certainly should have seen a second yellow for his trip on Patrick a minute after the assault. I hope we bury them in an avalanche of goals in the second half.

  12. That Dundee will be some team when the ‘expert’ McCann takes over.

Lets see if he can walk the walk as well as talk the talk.

  13. A second would settle us right down at one those bastards always have a flukey punchers chance.

Pedro looks clueless and his team have only two ideas park the bus and boot the Celts..

Mon The Griff give us a goal son!

  14. patmcgrathtakesapenalty on

Sky commentary round about 19 minutes when Tavernier took out SS:

“Willie Collum is having a word with Tavernier. Rangers (sic) are going to have to do more of that…” Do they never listen to themselves?

There is only one team playing football. There is only one just result.

  15. Since Perdo has been their manger they try and play ZONAL marking at every set piece…we should be looking to have the run on them in the air ?

They have offered feck all…………..Celtic have NOT committed a single foul in 1st half, and as Bhoys on here have been saying all season why do we have so many fouls awarded against us in the other games so far given our bulk share of possession ?

Celtic have had 65% percentage according to Sky Stats in the 1st half..and NO FOULS COMMITTED.

CELTIC …..TURN THIS SUPERIORITY INTO MORE GOALS !

    KTF

  16. We need a second to negate their penalty, which they will get, if they get into our box!!

    Mind the gap?

    It’s a chasm!

  17. FOR A PEOPLE AND A CAUSE on

    Lovely goal from young Callum

Some shocking tackles on paddy in particular although we shouldn’t be shocked at this stage

  18. same as last game they should be 9 men at half time.. every time we play the ball they leave a foot or shoulder in.. We need a quick second goal

  19. patmcgrathtakesapenalty on

    Big Jimmy

The only time they had a serious stretch of possession was when Celtic were down to ten men and then they had no notion what to do with the ball. It all augurs well but we need another quick goal to calm the nerves – mine, that is.

  20. I like how Celtic players are drawing them in but passing the ball before they can mount a (legitimate) challenge. Their dangerous challenges are there for all to see. The ball is away and the commentators can’t try to excuse it by saying, “I think he got a bit of the ball there.”

    Let’s hammer them Celtic.

  21. Roberts has been very brave but I’d expect the young Rangers full back to be substituted.
