I’m enjoying the game it’s very open compared to SPL teams playing at CP, it’s certainly not great because of the quality on display, compared to the big (money) teams in Europe, but it’s exciting end to end stuff all the same.

We finished that half in much better shape. I think Forrest could do some damage in the second half.

Frankly we are fortunate to be only 1 down at half time.
The team was set up wrongly and the referee is a complete fool.
They are sharper than us and we were in danger of getting a real beating.
Unless they sort things out at HT it still could go that way.

Some poor performers in Celtic shirts but the worst performer by far is the fud of a referee.
Some terrible possession play inviting them on to us.
I hope aresnal chose tonight to watch Virgil.
Came into it a bit more after we scored. I’d put Kayal on for Mulgrew and Forrest on for McGregor and see how we do. If we can get the next goal then who knows?
Mon the Astra though……….I’m expecting some fireworks from them in the second half!!

Salzburg are a good team,but not as good as we made them look early on. Some poor and inconsistent reffing not helping,plus some shocking distribution too.
But…
We’re still in it,and I hope we start the second half a damn sight better than we started the first!

Ambrose is a calamity. He’d be enough of a liability if he’d been playing regularly. Griffiths looks out his league, but running off the shoulder he still presents a threat.
