Have you EVER tried it ?

Getting decisions correct every time without the benefit of slo-mo’s is well nigh impossible. In fact, it IS IMPOSSIBLE to be correct EVERY time.

This constant criticism of officials does us no favours at all.

    Accept reality. Get real.

Thanks James for posting those, this case becomes more twisted as it goes on.

How can the judge ask for backgrounds reports when one of the men is already well known to police?

While I don’t want to jump to conclusions this has a rotten smell about it.

£800.00 (tax free) for 90 minutes “work”

    A pie at half time.

    A shower at full time.

A few drinks afters (at a SFA approved place of choice)

Ach I’ll give it a go.

  11. 57,848 for a game against st johnstone is very good and we are guaranteed at least another 2 full house with the league trophy to parade and then the game against the southsiders, or maybe not!

  12. construction around celtic park taking shape now are they not, any word on the new museum/ plaza area being started at celtic park?

  13. The Omnipresent Pat Nevin on

Always going to be difficult against the men from ( the City of ) Perth.

Sunny afternoon; commentary on 5 Live – you just know it’s going to tough.

Samaras was the difference but I continue to have doubts about Anthony Stokes. He CAN score goals. Undoubtedly. But, he just does not seem to do enough of real quality in the build-up to attacking moves. Doesn’t seem to really enjoy playing ……..going by his facial expressions. No surprise he gets substituted.

Rugby Park for the title …………..yet again.

Anyone know anything about the “Justice for Marian Price” campaign outside the ground today?

And complaint going into the CP Catering Mananger….do we still own our catering or is that outsourced? First full house in over three months and only three overworked young staff in the “food bar” between sections 407 & 408. Massive queues before game and at half-time resulting in people missing parts of the game.

    Very poor.

  15. Well done Bhoys. Saw us win the title at Killie a few years ago, would be nice to do it again.

  16. Does anyone else think it’s hilarious that all these huns are coming out of the woodwork claiming

“I’ve never had an EBT,don’t even know what one is. The rankers shouldn’t be striped of their titles and trophies”?

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Ronald De Boer say that he wanted to play in Scotland to experience a different league?yet he spurned opportunities to play in nice warm Spain? and wasn’t Ronald receiving more income that his brother Frank who played for Barca?

Liked that little ditty “One’s called Ronald one’s called Frank”

Nothing strange about the judge asking for background reports. If one of them has not served a sentence of imprisonment before, the judge is required by law to obtain reports before sentencing if he is considering imprisonment. He is considering imprisonment. Even if both have been to jail before, he is covering his back by getting reports. He can then say he sentenced them having taken into account as much information as was available to him.

The judge is, nonetheless, an obnoxious wee Hun.

Noticed last night that when the Villa fans applauded for Stan, McLeish didnt applaud. He was busy watching the match and shouting instructions to the players. Very professional and fair play to him. He is after all being paid to manage.

However, Neil Lennon stood and applauded for the full minute today. More proud of you every day, Neil.

  19. Congratulations to our U19’s with a convincing 4-1 win away to St Mirren in the Scottish youth cup semi final, Watt who scored two goals in the match received a second yellow for supposedly over celebrating a goal?

Just in from Celtic park, that was the title clincher today well done Celtic

Title celebrations and presentation now to be arranged for next home league match, a celebration of everything Celtic should make for a great day out and just reward for those who fund Celtic at home.

Not a classic today by any means, St Johnstone are well organised and very competitive, laughable officials continue to embarrass the SFA, Samaras MOTM followed by Brown and Rogne, Commons still has quality in some of his passing and dead ball delivery

Lets get next weeks dead rubber out of the way to celebrate with the Celtic family at paradise

  20. Poor performance from Stokes and Hooper . Again !!

Neither of these two jokers have kicked a ball for weeks

As for Stokes angry man stomp up the tunnel after being subbed …. Could do with a right hard boot up the jacksy

Good job from Sammi & Brown

    Forster,Mulgrew & Commons were ok

    the rest …

    Time to smarten up

Yes I did try it for a year in Darwin. I was also President of the Darwin CSC at that time.

The game which decided the championship that year was played between a Greek and an Italian team. Both managers Scottish and members of Darwin CSC. One was the Vice President of Darwin CSC and also a player manager.

I was running one of the lines. The referree was a Currant Bun named Dave Mc Coullough.

    HT 0-0

Twenty minutes to go: Greeks break into Italian half. Greek team CF beats offside trap; I was briefed to give attacker benfit of the doubt in 50/50 decision.

    1-0 Greeks.

Italian player manager, VP Darwin CSC, rushes over to me and says sic: “See you Pat your a wee Orange B…… ” Cue Referee: “Did you heart that linesman.”

( He hated to say words like Pat.)

“I did ,”said I, “but a don’t know, who he was shouting. It could not have been at me at cos I am definately not an OB and he knows that.”

Some being an officail is worthwhile. Wee Davy would have loved to have sent of Kenny Kilmartin.
