  1. Hector must know how those rats operate.

He should know every stinking rathole route they might scurry.

New [and debt—free] huns will waltz with anod and a wink, back into this pantomime they call, SPL, after Liquidation brazenly wearing it’s predecessors stinking rags.

Hector must prepare to douse such phoenix flames before they turn to ash.

  2. Good afternoon friends.

Job done today to set up a very memorable Easter Weekend.

Hibs have just taken the lead, 2-1 away to Inverness. What a shame for good ole John Yorkstone and Jim Jeffries.

Thanks for that Mate, the workings of the law are hard for us normal punters to understand..

  4. missed game due to coaching duties, according to Radio Scotland we were shite and St Johnstone were robbed!!!

So got a bit more perspective now and once again Sammi, Brown,Rogne , FF and a bit of Commons was enough, am I right?

All roads lead to Killie, I owe them for 2003 and I am struggling for a ticket, hope to pull one out of hat tomorrow.

I see that Baldy Bain is now squirming all over the place, how could he go to court with an unfair dismissal case ? Wee CW must have had all the evidence he needed on the entire EBT sham to bury him in court so he now “drops his claim for the good of the club!! Shameless, nice try, but he is fooling nobody.

  5. My goodness, 2 goals in 2 minutes and it’s now ICT 2 Hibs 3.

commenatary whilst I do the ironing and keep a track of CQN. And they say men can’t multitask!

Just back from the game …… The Bhoys are determined to make it hard for themselves, and for us ……. Anyway, the important thing is that we are a draw away from being champions, and that’s all that matters ……..

  8. That was another tough game. The away teams just love our beautiful pitch . Well done to the Bhoys today, nearly there. :-)

(A good win for Hibs today.)

    A lousy 60 minutes followed by a good 30.

The introduction of Ki was the catalyst for some good play, not so much from Ki himself, but from the balance it brought to our midfield. Stokes, who had been ineffectual, was off, allowing Sammi to take a more central role, which in turn freed up Commons to roam left and right, giving us far more unpredictability for the St Johnstone defence to deal with.

Commons delivery for the 1st goal was superb, and his pass to Ki in the build up to the 2nd was a peach – this was the best move of the match.

Sammi MOTM, as I said he would be, with Commons looking like getting back to his best. Stick with that midfield three of Brown/Ki/Ledley next week and at the Hearts game and we won’t go far wrong.

Oh, and Lustig – no impact whatsoever. Matthews’ arrival galvanised play down the right hand side.

I didn’t like the look of the midfield before the game, and I was proved right,we need three strong players in the middle.

The important thing was to win the game, onwards to Killie.

  12. After today i hope we have seen the end to the 4-4-2 this season, we just at present do not have a front two who can do the system justice, let the system we employ in the coming weeks fit what quality we have available in the squad.

Went looking for my wife’s Sunday Post to see what the craik was on the latest administrator’s statement on liquidation next week ……. Major development, and where do I find it?…..very small column in page 2 ………. HILARIOUS …. They’re all still in denial……LOL

We went 451 against the huns and were gash, now 442 is out, so was 424 :O) we are running out of formations.

  15. Tickets for next sat are on sale, Ayrshire Huns have increased price to 30 quid.

One concerning point from game today, no striker on the bench, 4 defenders including 3 full backs.

Brown and Sami top bhoys the day.

    One step closer….

  16. Philbhoy - It's just the beginning! on

ICT got pumped the day because their players were not throwing themselves into tackles the way they do against us.

    They are cheating their supporters.

And big tel is in a huff. Another class FUD!

Oh, yes, yorkston and the pars……GIRUY!

  17. from what i seen Lustig done o.k couple of good crosses and made a number of good challenges at the back, mathews done o.k when he came on got forward more.

same could be said of charlie who was actually not a good as lustig today and the introduction of izzy would have seen a more effective forward running

    harsh on lustig

We do not play the one footballer who has the imagination and creativity to make these formations work.(Paddy)

Although, I was pleased Commons got the full 90 today. He needs game time and will get back to the heights he achieved last season. I’m sure of it.

  19. BIG-CUP-WINNERS on

Today: Just didn’t seem like a team looking to win the title. Throughout the team we had several players who looked unwilling to work. It’s either a lack of energy or appetite.

Thought Brown continued his recent form, Mulgrew and Samaras, second half were good.

Sorry to see the stadium nearly empty at full time.

57,848 for a game against st johnstone is very good and we are guaranteed at least another 2 full house with the league trophy to parade and then the game against the southsiders, or maybe not!

most of these punters, i’ll wager, bought their tickets with the promise of a party today. Most of them cant be arsed supporting the team during the good and the bad.

Lack of match practice will be a factor, but he hasn’t looked much good so far. The difference Matthews brought was palpable, and he looks to have regained the dynamism missing in recent games. His crucial clearance from the low cross – would Lustig have got to that? I doubt it.

Once again, though, the management team got it wrong with the initial formation and tactics. The substitutions were the right ones but those players should have been there from the start.

This will matter little for the league, but Lenny must get it right for the Hearts game.

Your correct, the lack of pace in full back areas is causing us to slow our game down.Izzy would had gave us that, like Matthews does.

We were reduced to 9 men at ibrokes, the sendings off rendered the system irrelevant on the day, we have some quality in midfield with Brown, Samaras, Wanyama, Leldey, Ki and Commons available at present, Forrest and Kayal remain injured, IMO we should play to our greatest strengths from what we have available, our front two were poor today, Hooper needs a rest how he stayed on at Stokes expense bemused me.

  24. up over goal

Sammy started the game on the left …ran riot for 20mins

was switched to the right and disappeared until the second half when he was restored to the left

i had a discussion with some of the bhoys where i sit re this ,,,,we couldn`t understand it ….it seemed counter productive

  25. I didn’t think Lustig was that bad today, great block in the first half also put in a great cross, getting injured is a worry cos i think he arrived injured. He also said he is a CB not RB so happy to wait and see what he’s got to offer.
