CONFIRMED: ELYOUNOUSSI IN, KLIMALA OUT, FORREST ON BENCH

JAMES FORREST will be on the substitutes’ bench for today’s High Noon showdown with Dundee United at Tannadice.

It’s the first time the Scotland international winger has been involved since undergoing surgery on an ankle injury sustained in Rija in the European tie in September.

The experience of 29-year-old Forrest has been missing in a dreadful campaign with the champions struggling in their bid to clinch their historic tenth successive title.

Interim boss John Kennedy, who saw the side beat Aberdeen 1-0 in his debut at Parkhead last weekend, has made just one change with Patryk Klimala dropping out with Mohamed Elyounoussi taking the Pole’s place.

Ryan Christie will become a ton-up Bhoy with his 100th appearance for the club.

The Hoops have won in each of the last nine meetings against the Tayside outfit with two victories already this season, 1-0 away and 3-0 at home, while United last emerged victorious in 2014.

TEAM: Bain; Kenny, Welsh, Ajer, Laxalt; Brown, Turnbull, McGregor, Christie; Elyounoussi; Edouard. Subs: Barkas, Duffy, Griffiths, Ajeti, Klimala, Soro, Rogic, Forrest and Montgomery.
