REO HATATE makes his long-awaited return to the Celtic midfield for the High Noon showdown against Livingston in West Lothian today.
The Japanese playmaker has played for only 21 minutes this year following a cameo appearance in the 3-0 win over St Mirren in Paisley on January 2.
Hatate, who has been stricken by hamstring and calf problems in an injury-ravaged season, takes his place in the team’s engine room alongside countryman Tomoki Iwata and Matt O’Riley against David Martindale’s side.
Liam Scales is also back and takes over from Stephen Welsh in central defence.
TEAM: Hart; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor; Iwata, O’Riley, Hatate; Kuhn, Kyogo, Maeda. Subs: Bain, Idah, Yang, Nawrocki, Kelly, Forrest, Bernardo, Ralston and Welsh.
