  1. Wee rat McC thinks they were maintaining us. WTF does that even mean. Never at the races. They got 2 chances all night and weren’t nearly good enough to take them and chances are they wouldn’t have scored from them even if they did take them. Horrible manager, horrible team, horrible support. Great result.

Stop press: Iron Man- Sean Fallon just started on BT. If you haven’t seen it, sit down and enjoy. You won’t spend a better hour. Have the Kleenex handy.

  2. RAYMAC

    Good post.

Brendan has recognized the tolerances refs give to our opponents and is signing guys that can give and take.

Wait to Kouassi is fit also.

Big skillful bassas like Ollie and Eboue work for me.

  3. FAN-A-TIC

Was it you who said that Olly will allow Broonie to play a few years longer ? whatever, I agree with that, he really keeps the ball moving and takes so much of the pressure off Broonie, allowing him to dominate week in week out, for a young fella he has an old head on the shoulders and he sure can give it back, as I said earlier, he is cute, cute enough to not get himself sent off, I’m sure his time in Italy has helped him, am delighted we have him, he will only get better and stronger.

  4. thomthethim for Oscar OK on

Chris thought we should have shown against PSG,the same ” aggression” Dundee had tonight.

Don’t think Euro refs tolerate that stuff, Chris.

  5. Thank goodness for the late goals so the scoreline reflected the game.

No,doubt in my mind that Dundee should have early bookings and a red card. McGregor equally a red.

    Negatives:

Lots of injuries, some niggle, some may be worse in the morning (KT from knee in the back, Griff caught late, accidentally, from O’Dea, Ntcham from red card assault)

Sloppy from 65-80 minutes. Passing for the sake of it rather than with purpose; or maybe Brown and Brendan would counter me by saying it tires them out…

Dundee fans booing Tierney. Don’t they know he is the man of steel. OK, granted I’ve been to games and convinced players were acting only to see the replay later and realise they weren’t. I hope they all go home and are honest enough to admit they were wrong.

    Referee. ‘Sake

Griff-two games in a row where he hasn’t looked quite himself. It’s a worry.

Paddy-expected more from him on a good surface. He is mercurial but also needs to be just good when he is not being Brillo.

Rogic-only because he didn’t get on the park. Disappointed.

    Positives:

    4-0

James Forrest, Scott Brown, Nir Bitton, Scott Sinclair, Kieran Tierney, Olivier Ntcham.

I would add Craig Gordon to the above if he’d actually used his hands during the game.

Game time for Boyata. Never broke sweat, didn’t have to.

Now for the hard part. Despite what those posting during the game said, I thought McCoist was good in commentary. I agreed with pretty much everything he said. Much better than Walker, McCann, Provan, et al.

  6. Out in Kos at the minute, Big thanks to LYMMBHOY tonight, My Celtic TV subscription (Radio) said no, BBC Scotland said no but LYMMBHOY came through and I watched the game, thank you mate HH

Went into Kos town on Monday, got off the bus and started picking up the pace, my Mrs says what’s the rush, I’d spied what I thought was a Celtic away shirt, yip after a few minutes there it was Paddy 7 on the back, she just laughed and shook her head :-)

Wore the hoops today at the pool and was immediately approached by a guy in a Dortmund top wanting to shake my hand, great fans he said, I said likewise mate, he said we both deserve better teams, I said let’s just enjoy what we have, he said ya just as long as you beat Bayern ;-)

  7. Fairhill Bhoy,

just watching the news about Mexico, horrific stuff,

probably the nicest staff i have ever met on holiday,

countdown well and truly on for Vegas, hoping to meet Sin City Bhoy for a beer

  8. Well done Celtic , only thing that spoiled night was the fat gardener talking pash as usual , well done big Sutton for handing him his arse on a plate ! SANDMAN i liked the Jakey/Broons comment earlier !

  9. GreeninbingleyinOslo on

Excellent the Bhoys. Truly excellent. Am listening to Complete Control by The Clash. Seemed apt.

Brendan’s post-match analysis was measured and temperate, as ever, but I loved this, when asked about the next game:

“I look at Rangers and they have brought one or two men into the team. Bruno Alves and Graham Dorrans, who I have always liked and tried to sign when I was at Swansea.”

I don’t think we have had a manager so adept at administering an innocent, wide-eyed stiletto through the ribs since Mr Stein himself.

Like last week’s casual ‘Rangers* have out-spent us’ comment.

And the joy, then as now, is that they don’t even feel it going in.

    Happy days.

  10. Same old Celtic running too fast and putting the ball where the keeper can’t reach it in a classy away performance from BR’s men. Completed with young manager of the year Salary McCostly in his asinine new double act with Chris Sutton , armchair Celtic fans had an easy night.

John Beaton didn’t see his yellow card until it was too late and Dundee had failed to stop Scott Sinclair other than with foul means, Jamesie dodged the flying tackles all night and took goal four since Saturday immaculately.

Olivier Ntcham’s physical presence was ace, as he bossed it with Broony and eight goals in two games, as Anderlecht approaches is as good as it gets after the disappointments of PSG.

The strength is in the squad and again Callum MacGregor shows how you score score without trying to kill the ball, Celtic still well deserved of the invincible tag we’ve earned.

    M.O.M James Forrest

  11. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

The Dundee players showed they could hack it , its a pity they couldn’t hack it with the ball at their feet.

We beat a team who let’s say, were enthusiastic in trying to stop us by any means necessary.

I wonder if McCann will show his rule book seeing as he likes the rules of football observed.

As for that nauseating pile of blubber , Sally, now co commentating on BT games, what have we done to deserve this .

The gardener to me was fine in his comments although a bit verbose, only at the end when he tried to make up the Hun’s as a force did I smell pish and so did Chris……

  14. ****CQN Last Man Standing 9-new competition starts Friday 29th September 2017****

    Good evening, friends.

We are now welcoming entrants for the return of our Last Man Standing competition which starts Friday 29th September 2017.

The competition will follow the same format as before and to win the entire prizepot, all you have to be is the Last (wo)man Standing at the end of the competition.

Not played before? Simply, select a uniquely different team from the list of football fixtures provided by us each week, and if you are the last (wo)man standing, then you win the prize.

Remember you can only pick the same team once in any competition, so you need to decide when to play the big guns!

The cost to take part is £10 per entry (you can have more than 1 entry if you wish), and just in case you falter in any weeks 1 to 3, then we even allow you to buy your history back for a further £10.

How easy is that? Surely you must win it!

The prizepot is 50% of all entrance and “history buyback” fees, with the remaining 50% being paid over to good causes.

For LMS9, the remaining 50% will be split equally between “Walk With Shay” and “The Oscar Knox Fund”; two causes very close to our hearts.

    https://www.facebook.com/OscarKnoxFund/

    https://www.facebook.com/walkwithshay/

So if you want to take part please send us an email to cqnpredictor@gmail.com saying ” Count me in” and we will send you the first week’s fixtures, with the rules and payment details.

Please also feel free to pass onto family and friends as they more that take part, means a bigger prizepot and more monies raised for good causes

  15. Scaniel

We should pray for the Port Onion’s black soul. He has truly sold his for an EBT.

He sang Billy Boys on video and took beelzebub’s coin.

Poor wee Neil fae the Port!

  16. Gordy

Big Olivier would survive if he walked about Dalmuir wi a Rangers tap on. No one else would get away with it. That Sham69 Bhoy is made of French steel.

  17. Tin hat on….

Thought McCoist was quite an objective commentator. Relatively positive contributions unlike some. Walker for example always sounds like private Fraser….all doom and gloom and negativity.

Naturally his views come from a particular background but that’s what you get from everybody. Anyway many of the Huns hate him which is good enough for me!

    HH

  18. Dallas- gonna start a petition to remove the co-commentary from our games by the sleekit one, please?

    Beaton is a bawsack.

Liked Suttons comment about Randy when Olivier ‘tackled’ him. Along the lines of ‘won’t be randy tonight’.

BT- no comment or replay about the Hodson tackle over the ball into ankle, for which he got a yellow last night- just silence.

Anyhoo, ACGR will be delighted with another semi.

  19. Thirds

McCoist knows nothing about fitba. He proved that as a manager. The only thing he loves is himself and money. Scumbag!

  20. AoW

Hope you and your good lady are coping with your recent sad loss.

You are all still in my thoughts and prayers.
