Couple of slack passes and you’d think he was sebo!

  2. No fluency in midfield passing of a poor standard

Both fullbacks dreadful, CHA distribution for an international fullback beggars belief

Celtic need Forrest Hooper and Stokes to do the business in 2nd half

  3. BOBBY MURDOCH'S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS on

Be a few players getting a coating at the moment,Cha and Vic in particular, and Izzy for the goal.

Passing today has been nothing short of a disgrace.

  4. Snake Plissken on

Absolutely terrible attitude from too many Celtic players.

Only Brown and Hooper seem to be up for this.

Falkirk want to win more and Neil had better get the hairdryer out and give them one hell of a rollicking.

Never mind the disallowed goal bad as it was too many Celtic players look like they are strangers.

Wanyama is having a shocker as are Forrest, Cha and Stokes.

    Get a grip.

  5. It should be 3-1.

We can come out and win this game easily, but we have to improve our passing and start taking chances. Fakirk are a passing team, and they won’t sit back, and I think we’ll win out in the end. No need to panic yet – I just hope Lenny gives them whatfor in the dressing room.

Pat the Nyaff talking nonsense as per….

  6. Eyes Wide Open on

Wanyamas having the game we were all waiting for – the dip in form 20 year olds generally have.

Luckily he doesnt suffer them as much as most his age.

However he is having one – he needs to be made aware of that in no uncertain terms, take him off.

Stokes appears to be having one of those games his character seems to bring on – arrogance turned into complacency.

    Izaguirre lacking match fitness

Cha Du Ri bottled a 50/50 tackle for their goal by the way – lets not forget that.

    Hoopers touches have been good

    Ledley quiet, Forrest quiet

  7. celtic *o* lennon * KANO 1,000 * on

A good kick up the behind at half time and we will be fine. Too many strolling it at moment

  8. Forrest lacked all the composure if the Falkirk kid

    Poor last ten mins

    Too slack , finger out

I’m sure the management will remind them of their responsibilities

btw Nevin says Falkirk the better team … Apart from their goal they haven’t had a chance

    Also beeb camera us appalling

  9. StMichaelsBhoy2 on

Not a great performance, but we should be 2-1 up if the linesman wasn’t a cheating bassa.

Falkirk are a tidy team, but never threatened apart from the goal. No blame on Cha for me, Vic’s pass gave him no chance, and it was Izzy being too slow to get back that allowed them to score.

No discussion of our first goal yet on the BBC. Probably never happened.

    Just the one????

    Yes agree matey.

We will win lads please relax.

  11. Players need a rocket here. Too much complacency in the team. They need to be left in no uncertain terms that they are better players than this display would suggest. Time to prove it.

  12. No mention of offside goal from panel as they slobber over Falkirk.

Pat Nevin says Falkirk have been better team. Has he forgotten the offside, the woodwork, Forrest miss or Stokes chance from Hooper?

  13. tommytwiststommyturns on

Philbhoy and Malone – behave yerselfs. Wanyama’s not taking the blame for our manager getting the midfield wrong!

Ledley should be in middle with Vic, not Broonie. We’ve got Commons still to bring on the left side and JF is having a good game, apart from that miss there.

    No panic bhoys!

  14. North.NorthWest of Neil Lennon on

stokes, cha, wanyama and izzy not at the races.

izzy off sammi on and ledley to LB would be my call….

  15. Philbhoy - It's just the beginning! on

    I posted yesterday –

    Underestimate Falkirk at your peril!!!!!!

Big Vic has had a shocker.

    Izzy missing at their goal.

Play a passing game Celtic, the long high ball disney work for us.

  16. Cha – least said the better.

Rogne, Brown and Hooper have risen to the occasion and have been absolutely terrific 1st half – some of Hooper’s control and passing has been superb.

Stokes is having a frustrating afternoon, but his understanding with Hooper might yet produce something.

On the flanks is where it just ain’t happening.

  17. For the goal you could blame Wanyama for the poor pass that was intercepted, Cha for not tackling or closing down the winger, and Izzy for letting the runner get in front (he looks to be puffed).

Quite a lot of players having a very average day- passes too short, long punts, lack of ideas… Hooper looks sharp though.. and likely to nick a(nother) goal.

  18. Should be 2-1. Shocking, shocking decision by the linesman to disallow Hooper’s goal. Not even close.

Wanyama, Cha, and Izzy all at fault for their goal. But if we up the pace we will win and win well.

BBC Scotland loving it. Not even trying to hide their bias any more, starting with a comment about how the Huns had won as Celtic and Falkirk were coming out of the tunnel…

  19. StMichaelsBhoy2 on

The Falkirk scorer had a second to make up his mind what to do, while Forrest had a lot of time to think about what to do. He should still have scored it though.

  20. Hmmm…..this isn’t looking so good…..

Horrible arrogance in Lenny’s part, to think 2 in the middle will be enough to beat 3, and sometimes 4 of Falkirk’s players.

Horribly low percentage of success in punting high balls at Stokes and Hooper.

    Horrible pass from Victor.

Horrible laziness from Brown and Izzy in responding to Victor’s giveaway.

    Horrible miss by Forrest.

Horrible decision by a linesman – who has subsequently shown that his eyesight is actually quite good.

Apart from that, we are doing ok……:)

  21. rocket required. would hook cha and vic just now, lets see what happens. 3-1 now and cha is a coward for a guy his size, jersey doesnt shrink and all that.

    In Lenny I trust.

If it was 2.1 as it should be it would be a different half time assessment though it will not fool Lenny.

    Victor to score the winner.

    HH

  23. I hope Neil brought his hair dryer with him.

    More focus and urgency required.

We are playing with only one midfielder and Hooper and Stokes are having to scrap for any ball, due to bad service.

I fully expect a completely different performance in the second half.

Falkirk are what they are, a First Division team. We are making them look good and it’s not as if they are “leaving the foot in” or are “in our faces”.

  24. weeron.

Wind yer neck in. Nothing arrogant about it. We were dominating and made a stupid series of mistakes.

  25. “Wanyama needs subbed and possibly dropped for the next game”

Get a grip. Ever heard of a boot up the erse at HT? The Bhoy has been our best player for over a month, cut him some slack.

The panel are heaping prease on Falkirk which is fair enough, but we weren’t troubled whatsoever before their goal- just caught napping.

Come on Celtic, lets get into another final.

  26. mncelt standing up for Neil Lennon on

    HT Celtic 1-1 Falkirk

Not quite the stroll in the park that it seems some of the players were expecting. When you throw in shocking officiating then we have a much closer game on our hands that we need. Hooper’s goal was a lazy, amatuerish decision. There has to be ways of preventing this and allowing some kind of review process – it’s time the governing bodies gave this some serious consideration. On the game itself it seemed that after we scored the goal that was allowed, we finally settled into a rhythm and then they scored against the run of play. The goal stemmed from a poor Wanyama pass in midfield followed by poor defending from Cha. Both these players have had stinkers. I would add Forrest and Ledley to that group. Scott Brown is playing a captains role and Hooepr is leading the line well but the rest need a half time bollicking from Lenny.

I can’t really see Falkirk scoring again in this game but fair play to them they have done well. Glad to see big Pressley getting success. Hopefully not today though.

  27. Philbhoy - It's just the beginning! on

    TTTT

Forest has done nothibg but miss a good scoring chance.

Big vic is having a shocker, whatever position he’s supposed to be playing today.

We will need to improve all over the park to win this game.

  28. Very poor passing so far, this game should be over with the chances we have had.

Hoping commons and matthews come on.

    Hate Hampden.
