GREEN LIGHT FOR JURANOVIC

0
JOSIP JURANOVIC has been given the World Cup green light by Croatia.
As expected, the Celtic right-back has been named in his nation’s squad for the global showpiece in Qatar which kicks off a week on Sunday with the hosts playing Ecuador and reaches a conclusion with the grand finale on December 18.
Juranovic received the nod from head coach Zlatko Dalic with Croata due to play Morocco a fortnight tonight, Canada three days later and then Belgium on Thursday December 1.
The Hoops defender, signed for a bargain £2.5million by Ange Postecoglou from Legia Warsaw in August last year, is a mainstay in his country’s rearguard and it is no surprise he was given a call-up.
Ibrox rival Borna Barisic is also included in the 26-player pool for the Middle East, but there is no place for his club team-mate Antonio Colak.
