Incidentally,we were denied an absolute stonewaller when Brown’s jersey was nearly ripped off his back as he tried to force the ball home in the first half.
Hamilton seemed to lose all hope when Stuart sent that screamer in.
Scuppered Willie Collum’s chances of getting a big game from the SFA too.
This is a really tremendous run that we are on in domestic football currently. Long my it continue.

Brilliant again from the bhoys after an exhausting schedule. By the time we play the Huns next week we will have played half as many games again as them this season. We’ll pump them anyway.
No surprise to see the honest mistakes creeping back in just in time for Aye Brokes. Wee Willie Collum is just a tube. A wimp who has clearly spent his life having sand kicked in his face, he obviously revels in the power refereeing gives him. Tube.
Congratulations to Brendan and the team and a big thank you from this happy Tim for an unbelievable first half of the season.
Merry Christmas to one all and all.

Gollum could not wait to card young McGregor. What about Donati’s deliberate hand ball? Of course if he had booked him for that he would not have got a second yellow, that we know.

Nothing about today was conducive to good football.
Neither the weather, the pitch nor the ref contributed to a decent game of football.
What we got was a solid, gritty team performance, that took everything the day had to offer and left Hamilton with three points and a great sense of job satisfaction.
I think Cristian Gamboa is worthy of a special mention.
He has slowly built his game from a cautious, no frills debut, excluding Barca, to the assured and aggressive contribution he delivered today,
Compliments of the Season to all Celtic people, in and around the Club, wherever ye may be.

Gollum had a positive effect on Celtic with his cheating.
We looked very comfortable and assured as well as more dangerous with ten men.
He focused the players and coaches who stepped it up.
Brendan’s Celtic , given a level playing field , will thrive.

In comparison to some recent games – that was a very polished 10-man performance today.
3 very good goals – both strikers scoring and a cracker from midfield.
Rotation has been good. Am sure the Bhoys will want to put the last 2 games to bed and enjoy a nice wee break in the New Year.
Coverage was rank – seen better silent movies in my time!
Terrible day for a game of soccer where the plastic pitch was already to blame for it going ahead..
SKY’s jaundiced take on everything Celtic was blissfully blocked, when the sound of Andy Walker was lost with 70 minutes gone, but the asinine Willie Collum had already done his worst with a dreadful decision to red card Callum Macgregor.
Neil EBT McCann saw an ‘absolute’ first half penalty, that ‘absolutely’ no one else did including the hapless Collum with his extra een.
In between and roundabout Celtic professionally nurtured us towards our strongest team with Scott Sinclair and James Forrest re-established on the flanks, and Moussa breaking his ‘slump’, with a fine goal. Leigh Griffiths scored typically and Stuart Armstrong found the top corner like Adam Matthews did in a previous visit.
Brendan Rodgers led SMSM a merry dance about plastic pitches and Celtic returned all three points as we head unstoppably to the big game against Ross County on Wednesday.

Old school blurry pics due to rain and condensation.

I just want to congratulate the team for an all round great performance. When Armstrong scored his wonderful goal you could feel the togetherness in the whole team. Eventually SkySports sycophantic financial support of the “best league in the world” EPL, which is based on ever increasing subscription fees, will cause their Business Plan bubble to burst.
The advent of “alternative viewing options” plus the ‘money no object’ influences such as the Chinese market will most likely hasten this denouement – as could anyone who still has a SkySports subscription by cancelling it right away.
The EPL will start to implode as their Sky based income streams will not be able to support the inflated contracts of their mostly overrated influx of players – and hell mend them.
Oh and a few Scottish sky sports “presenters” will be out of a job – how sad, what a shame, never mind !

Rather than use the pitch and conditions as an excuse to fail, cc your last blog Paul67, I thought Brendan had the boys ready for the battle. I thought we competed brilliantly over the 90 minutes and won our battles first and foremost. Sure it was tough to get the ball down and play like we normally do but we dug in and waited for moments of quality that would see us prevail. What a ping Stuarty! There is something immensely satisfying about winning with 10 men, it’s about team work, organisation and hard work. We were seamless when we went down to 10, if not better. What more can you say about Brendan Rodgers, today was as animated as i have seen him. He was patrolling, encouraging, and giving direction on the touchline, it was an absolute joy to watch.
