NEW Bhoy Oh Hyeon-gyu is on the brink of a quickfire Celtic debut.

The South Korean striker, who sealed his £2.5million deal from Suwon Samsung Bluewings during the week, WILL make an appearance within the next four days.

Ange Postecoglou was delighted to get his fourth January signing over the line and won’t be hanging around before introducing the 21-year-old international to the Hoops support.

GREEN FOR GO…South Korean striker Oh Hyeon-gyu is looking to make an early first impression.

The champions travel to Tannadice this afternoon to take on Dundee United, the side they decimated 9-0 at the same venue in August, and will then welcome Livingston to Parkhead on Wednesday evening.

Oh will get his opportunity against one of the teams as he settles into life in Scotland following his five-year contract agreement.

Postecoglou, speaking to the Daily Record, said: “He is training with us. He has had three weeks of pre-season training in Korea, but he hasn’t played since November.

“So, we need to get some game time into him. I will see how he is. He has trained well, but it has been a big week for him physically and emotionally with the move.

“I will assess when is the best time to bring him in. If it’s not the weekend it will definitely be midweek. I’m keen to get him involved.”

Centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers, defender Greg Taylor and back-up keeper Benji Siegrist all return to the Hoops squad for the 4pm kick-off on Tayside.
