    Changing manager at this point would be the foolish thing to do however come the end of the season Ronnie should be relieved of his duties even if he scrapes the league.

     

     

    Player recruitment is all wrong! I would honestly have Logan before Lustig, McLean before Armstrong, Hayes before GMS, even Shinnie before Tierney.

     

    And they were all available for peanuts which would have suited our spending policy.

    I am pissed off with this crap about getting rid of Stokes etc to ‘save money’ – Celtic are spending huge amounts of money on average or less than average players. By all means have a go at the money that is being wasted (about 10 centre forwards in three years, most of them for decent fees and all but Leigh Griffiths total mince) but forget the pish about them not spending money. unless you want them to spend money they dont have

     

     

    I certainly dont agree with everything P67 says but, see if I was so offended by what he writes, or disagree so much with what he says, I would stop reading it given that noone is forcing me to read it. I cant work out, then, why the usual culprits come on here and spout their usual pish about Paul’s alleged sycophancy towards the Board. If you dont like, dont read it

     

     

    Quite why P67 keeps this forum going in the face of all the crap that is written, and the abuse he takes, I have no idea

    Even If we win this league, is Ronny the man for next season? For me the answer is no & for that reason, I think it’s best to get the next guy in the door now rather than wait. Yes it’s a gamble but any manager worth their salt should be able to organise our players to win this league. I’d like to see WGS back but if not him then let’s see if Moyes fancies it.

    Cards on the table, I have lost faith in Ronny.

     

     

    Not because he loses a game here and there it’s about what I see as a complete inability to manage our team.

     

     

    How many goals do we need to lose from corner kicks before he does something about it, we now have a known weakness here teams exploit, Malmo, Molde, Ross County and Aberdeen all spring immediately to mind.

     

     

    Does he have the ability to set our team up with a formation other that 4 2 3 1 ?

     

     

    His signings, not great are they, I give you Cifti, he can’t blame our scouts on this one, he watched him, we all knoew he was hopeless, £1.3m our big signing of the summer, home out on loan.

     

     

    GMS and SA weak weak weak.

     

     

    Efe Ambrose, how many times, playing him sends the wrong message, it’s okay to balls up regularly as you will still get a game.

     

     

    We have no chance of getting into the UCL with him as manager, and let’s remember we don’t need to face any ‘big’ clubs to get there, just Malmo, Maribor, Legia Warsaw all teams with a tenth of our resources.

     

     

    Finally I think the players know he is. dead man walking, they have no fight.

     

     

    shame as we would all have loved it to be so different !

    The board MUST get their act together and see their project didn’t work. I have enjoyed the majority of RDs games at CP, BUT, we require a Manager with, at least, some kind of European success in their background. Not holding my breath. HH

    don’t forget – Ronny Deila was ROBBED of a treble last season by the filth that run our game! He will do the double this season and deserves a crack at europe again! with a settled side (no more Denayer, Van Dijk scenario).

    Just in from the game. I was sat behind the goal that saw all 3 goals so had a good view of the main action.

     

    I wasn’t impressed. Eric was a stand out- even though as yet unfit he tried to do everything in all parts of the park. He’s my kind of player. Griffiths will also do me. Boyata was decent. Tierney is the biggest man in the team.

     

    I’m struggling to see what the others offer. Biton is too classy for this league. Genuinely nobody to play with in this team.

     

    James Forrest should never wear a celtic top again. Shitebag of the highest order. Lustig was chronic. Armstrong GMS not Celtic class.

     

    Brown is a spent force.

     

    The only thing Kazim will bring is fines. He lacks a strikers instinct.

     

    I felt sorry for Scott Alan. No way he should be so low in the pecking order.

     

     

    Possession was all Celtic’s but we rarely looked like scoring.

     

    A poor show. Anyone who is still banging a Deila drum needs their head examined.

    Any body remember the outcry to sack McInnes when Aberdeen went into free fall earlier in the season?

     

     

    No?

     

     

    Me neither.

     

     

    The one thing that will stop us improving more than any is division. A house divided against itself cannot stand.

     

     

    The media raised the cross bar for RD making a treble a must. That put him under pressure every 90 minute cup tie when anything can happen. Had tonight been a cup game we would have been out but here we are still ahead in the race where we will finish at the end of the season. If its a tight run thing is that RD’s fault and if he gets replaced will his replacement face the same media built hurdle?

     

     

    Now is not the time to abandon RD. Now is the time to encourage them.

     

     

    Many are saying we lack courage. No friggin wonder its in short supply amongst the support who are supposed to provide it.

     

     

    Don’t let a hostile and uninformed media drive the agenda. By all means look at formations performances etc but not to criticise but to encourage.

    The title is gone if Ronny stays. He needs sacked now and an interim appointed with a straightforward sc tie.

     

     

    He should have been sacked after Molde but Lawwell came out in strong support of his puppet and controlled the transfer window. Loaning out Stokes was a mistake when you are left with fan dancers like Armstrong. Stokes would have been good for the run in. Lawwell wants Stokes out of the club , like he did with Watt. He is de facto director of football and Ronny coach. Ronny is just too nice a guy. Lawwell is using Ronny like a door mat.

     

     

    Lawwell should do the honourable thing and resign before Ronnie is asked to leave. I suspect Lawwell will,need to be dragged out of the building screaming about his bonus, SFA role and EC rep and how important he is. A pity he doesn’t look around at the shambles he has created from a position of strength with “no competition”. Lawwell has no shame and will try to push Ronny under the bus.

    And then compound that by adding an irellevence as point b.

     

     

    We need logic and critical thinking, not tired cliche. What are the advantages of keeping Ronny and Collins? I can see none. We’re terrible.

     

     

    Before the inevitable “who replaces him?” – that’s another false dichotomy. We have no overview of availability, so it’s not a question a layman can give an informed answer to. It’s a silly distraction.

     

     

    Much like blaming the referee and Ladbrokes. All distractions in the name of political manoeuvring – because it’s not in the best interests of Celtic.

    Ronny has brought in TWENTY-TWO players in TWENTY MONTHS – now I know that there are the deluded among the support, probably most of them post on this forum, who will say thst Peter Lawwell has chosen them all and foisted them on Ronny – please stop insulting our joint intelligence.

     

     

    The only difference between the Aberdeen/Ross County boardrooms and ours, is that they can only give a fraction of the money at Ronny’s disposal, in transfer fees and wages to their manager.

     

     

    Failure to qualify for CL (twice) – failure to deliver a treble and the abysmal failure on Sunday and tonight are FOOTBALL DEPARTMENT failures, and they are now endemic in all that Ronny and the team does.

     

     

    Yes the board is ultimately to blame as they appoint the management – there is time to correct – that time is NOW!

     

     

    Does anyone out there still think that there is no danger in us losing the league – I said yesterday, if you can envisage Leicester, you can envisage Aberdeen quite easily.
