As a happy clapper I have to say I am worried about the lack of fight when things go wrong.
That said any other night griffiths would have had a hattrick. Wasted chances, stupid decisions. Cout us again.

thank you Peter Lawell for marginalizing glasgow celtic and providing just enough funding to embarrass us in europe yet again. Last minute deals for average players and managers and coaches. time you read what is printed on the inside of the jersey – pity that statement doesn’t extend to the boardroom because your strategy, whilst lining your pockets, has been a total and utter failure.
The guy is a senior player and hasn’t kicked a ball since Neil Lennon left..
You have been following the story right?
He would never pull on a Celtic strip again in my world..

I am not usually a critic but please do not buy any more players from D. Utd! Boyata is also just not good enough. Why is it that Celtic never seem to have a game plan? Oh dear, very depressing.

Confirmed as bottom in the group with one game still to play – that is woeful.
Injuries tonight , but no such excuses in the previous 4 games or the Malmo doubleheader.
We went out of the CL qualifiers with a whimper in Malmo.
We went out of the Europa with even less than a whimper.
And the co-efficient has taken a tanking thanks to this season’s woeful European campaign.
Played 9 games v full time opponents, won 2, drew 3, lost 4.
The after effects of this awful European campaign will be with us for some time to come.

Don’t worry Canamalar I will buy you one (or more) back.
We are a very poor team now and maybe worse than that we have absolutely no heart.
GerryBhoy on
Very poor but you have to question why Scott Allan has had next to no game time. That is entirely the fault of RD. Allan will be a fine player for us; he at least can see a forward pass! LG did not put his chances away either. That did not help. KT had another very good game, so there are a couple of silver linings out there.

Craig Gordon was sleeping there….again.

I didn’t think we played too badly tonight. We defended well and troubled them on the break. We created plenty of opportunities but Griff had a mare. We were caught on a sucker punch as we chased the winner and we were right to be chasing the winner.
It looks like Charlie is finished, but I think there are positives. Tierney, Jozo & Boyata showed well. Even though he was ultimately responsible for us losing the game, I think Allan showed he can be a player for us.

Ronnie never learns. Out of his depth. His players don’t know what they are doing.
Continually dreadful in Europe.
We didn’t look fit. Nor confident. No leaders nor fighters on the park.
I have given Ronnie the benefit iof the doubt for too long now.
No grit nor balls at Celtic from management down. I am so dejected. Always the same feeling every time we lose in Europe and that is that celtic should not be losing to mediocrity like that.
Am too annoyed to even have a beer Ffs!!!

WHY DID ARMSTRONG DECIDE TO TAKE A SHORT CORNER WHEN ALL OUR BIG MEN WERE UP????
Should mention Simunovic – good defender. When you look.good behind a,midfield that exposes you so often that’s a good sign.
A,couple of bad decisions and misses cost us. We played Ok. We’re just not very cute and we get too stretched when chasing a game.

If Ronny wants what is best for Celtic ,he will have the decency to resign
If Ronny wants what`s best for Ronny,he wont.
If P.L. wants what`s best for Celtic,he will sack Ronny.
If P.L. doesn`t want what`s best for Celtic,he shouldn`t be C.E.O. in the first place.

Overall we could have sneaked IF LG had been wearing shooting boots, but, still a dire performance from so many players. So many to mention. Why oh why, take a short corner when You have brought everybody up ? I don’t think Allan was even watching the ball when it suddenly arrived at his feet! As for Mulgrew, unless he has a broken leg I would not let him near a Celtic Jersey. He might have been dejected but what about all the fans, especially the ones who were there? I await his excuse!!
Mail me your addy and I will send you a bottle of the finest vino.

Some positives from tonight……I’m positive we need to find a club who will give us some money for Armstrong and Mackay Steven. I’m positive we need to find a replacement for Lustig. Positive we can’t rely on Griffiths alone for goals.

Ronny is such a good guy, it’s a shame. I would love to see the good guy succeed, but he’s just not at the races. We’re going backwards under him. Losing leads, losing 2+ goals a game, bottom of EL with 2 points. Fallen a long way from Barca. Damning I’m afraid. That said, given the choice I’d rather have Ronny stay than Lawwell and Desmond. New leadership needed.
Ellboy on
I thought we were brilliant in spells tonight given the many changes we had to make. However our wastefulness in the final third. That’s been evident under RD’s management, went up another level tonight. Griffiths decision making was especially deplorable, lost count how many opportunities he had to play someone in. Took Ajax one opportunity on the break to show us how to make a goal, we should have improved in this area by now.
Obviously hugely disappointed but there are positives to take.
Tierney, Allan (mistake aside) & McGregor all showed a great attitude and carried a real threat.
Unlike Mulgrew making for the tunnel after they scored. No treatment just abandoned the cause?
Looked like a two fingers towards the manager attitude to me & obviously unacceptable.

Not sure where we go from here.
Neganon2,
That’s a pint of your choice. Broken hearted and scunnered
Dont feel as bad about that as i have with some of the other games but all those that feel the need to get tore into whoever you can……charge on.
Sick of watching this game again and again…
Now understand why Scott Allan is not breaking through – lovely touch and vision but no pace…
Well Ronny do the decent thing. Come back in 10 years time when you are ready for the job
You can’t go ahead in so many games and throw it away over and over
Mediocrity f2f
Peter lawell
Dermot Desmond
Just feck off
Poor Ronny
I’m sure he an ok manager
We’re very underfunded
They should go before the manager
