Celtic won, and I’ll take that all day long over anything else.
Egress was as fast as The Battered Bunnet’s speeding German black bullet, and ole EuroChamps67 knows the mean streets of the east end, like the back of his hairy hand.
Celtic were not at their best but managed to bring Dundee’s run to an end despite Paul Hartley’s side refusing to stop playing, a tidy short passing game that matched Celtic’s disjointedness, all day.
Forrest managed a few of those inimitable runs and passes that separated the sides, but Celtic will welcome back their skipper with open arms, for a very different game on Thursday night, where the ante will need considerable upping.
Johansen and Mulgrew worked the midfield, and by the time RD introduced Kayal, Celtic were digging in for the three points, even although Stefan was pushed forward as the attacking midfielder, which could have been wrapped up if Celtic were sharper in front of goal.
That said, Stokes and Guidetti both bulged the net, and Celtic will have shaken off the international break in time for Thursday, where hopefully Denayer and definitely Brown will be restored, and if Lustig is fit, he’s a shoe in listless Adam Matthews.
M.O.M Johansen.
P.s. We paid our respects to the magnificent Oscar Knox tribute who’s fittingly so close to, and up there right now, with Brother Walfrid smiling down on Celtic.

Na probs winner I’m pleased for you. Enjoy your evening.
Just back from CP. Thanks to Robert for the ticket and TBB for the lift.
Celtic weakened in the 2nd half. Dundee were very offensive and played a nice style of football but their defence was there to be threatened more than we could manage.
The only team that get intiminated at CP is us in the final 10 minutes. Stokes & Commons were out of touch today and Efe surpassed them all with a really hapless display. We scored a very good 2nd goal mind you with Forrest & Matthews combining well.
Wished we could do it more often. Will feel more confident about Thursday if Denayer recovers. Salzburg are 5 times better than Dundee at counter attacking.
Oscar’s stone is in a beautiful position. I was not the only misty eyed person looking out for it before the match.

Great day in Paradise. Excellent game of football, Dundee really try to play.
Wee Jamsie’s quality made the difference.
Quality pre match Gazebo also, even though they have messed with the Celtic Way pennants, King Kenny on the Henrik post? Terrific CQN company and brilliant, post AGM exclusives, and a BSR Americano, no Danish, thank you very much.
I really miss the Paradise experience during these international breaks so great to see some great football again. SPL is not as bad as Sevconians and MSM would have you believe.

I just noticed that Commons set up the first goal, though hardly kicked a ball otherwise and we tightened up defensively when he went off. Is his time with us nearing an end? Matthews also seems to have been replaced by someone who defends like me playing 5s, what happened to his ability to tackle?

Enjoyed the game today, Dundee played well and ensured it remained competitive, they play a nice passing game and epitomise Paul Hartley in their commitment. My only gripe is big VVD, his application is lacking at times coming across as overly casual.

Can’t wait for decent competition next season when Hearts and possibly Hibs/QoS are promoted . Don’t want any team/club/business in any form with a ‘Rangers’ name being allowed to sully Scottish football any further
Great post earlier regarding The 3 Red cards and the 2 yellows for Black.
There is nothing that can or will be done about this. This is why i never want to play this gang for the 1st time. The honest mistakes will be flying about. You would think Robbie Neilson would say something about injuries to his players.HH

I have been astounded of forehead that the sleek it one is still in a job. However, unless he does actually have pictures of the directors with a goat, I think he will get bagged this week. I think McCall will be at snake mountain within two weeks.
As for us, today once again showed that CM is never a central mid. But three points against a hardworking team, so pass marks. However, will need to up our game fur Thursday.

Dundee were decent.
Hamilton-esque in their tidiness.
Would def have put mulgrew back into defence and brought kayal on when denayer got injured. Efe is bombscare-tastic right now.
Mike in Toronto. We missed Broonie. Lots. He’s def worth his weight in ginger bottles in this new contract!
Would def have had Griffiths on the bench and on for the last 25 for the puffed out guidetti.
Izzie. What a power of running that Bhoy does. And last off the field after thanking the fans.
Johanssen’s lung bursting runs are hilarious cos they invariably do burst his lungs and he falls over in the box!
Good wee CQN corner posse pre and post match.
