CONFIRMED: FORREST IN, MAEDA STAND-BY

0

JAMES FORREST gets the nod from Brendan Rodgers to start for the second successive game when he lines up against Hearts at Parkhead this afternoon.

The Scotland international forward was the two-goal hero in the team’s 2-1 victory over Dundee at Dens Park on Sunday following an impressive display – and another vital strike – in the Scottish Cup semi-final against Aberdeen the previous weekend.

Fit-again Daizen Maeda gets a berth among the substitutes after the Japanese winger’s remarkable recovery from a hamstring injury.

The champions are three points ahead and can go six in front with their nearest challengers from Ibrox playing tomorrow against Kilmarnock in Govan.

TEAM: Hart; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor; O’Riley, McGregor, Hatate; Kuhn, Kyogo, Forrest. Subs: Bain, Palma, Idah, Yang, Nawrocki, Iwata, Bernardo, Maeda and Ralston.

Earlier today, we asked how much you could remember about past associations with the Edinburgh club in CQN‘s fun five-minute quiz to test your knowledge.

Now we repeat the questions and provide the answers.
