I agree that they can’t afford to pay him off, but if he stays they won’t go up this year, high they can afford even less. I think they must be realizing that.
just trying to work through various scenarios (fire before or after administration) but no scenario really makes sense.
So, just a hunch that I think he will be gone soon.

SB is not the answer. jF had some nice touches and runs today. Would love to see the little man if he had a proper midfielder who could spot his runs and get the ball to him. SB isn’t that guy (at least not often enough)
Just saw the Man U goal. Has any team ever deserved a lead less? (Other than the obvious?)

Funny that SB has been a first pick for many managers through the years but posters on here apparently see him otherwise.
Maybe you guys should be in football management, or maybe not.

Thoroughly wet but thoroughly enjoyable day at Celtic Park. I thought we were good value for the win but Dundee are a good football team, which is good to see. Hope our young Belgian isn’t too badly injured.
For me, the highlight was James Forrest. How we’ve missed his foraging and running at teams.
I gather the undead were brutal over in Edinburgh.
I am one of those who is more than happy that our captain has signed on for 4 more years. I would like to see Johansen made deputy captain, as he has a similar drive to our captain. Mulgrew seems to me to drift through the game. He and Commons and Stokes seem to compose their own team within the team.

SB has his strengths. And he offers things that our other midfielders don’t. He has the qualities that are valued in Scottish football. Hence, he has been selected by British managers. But Rd says he wants to move to a more free flowing continental style, which really isn’t sb’s style. I suspect that rd plays him because he feels that SB might be the best option at the moment, but I don’t see him being key going forward. But, hey, it’s all about opinions.

One word on bodyshape – Larssonesque.
Day of babysitting relieved by Hun conversation overheard in Costa coffe shop – at around 2.30 one of 3 Orcs yelps ‘penalty!’ after monitoring progress on his phone.
On cue across table a fist punches the air and a too-loud-for-coffee-shop unpunctuated speil of:

I never even bothered to cover the kids ears as I looked away; too busy trying not to explode with hilarity.

I know Alister McCoist is being hailed on these pages as the worst ever manager who has picked a team that emerges from the home dressing-room at Ibrox but I would like another name to be considered. That man is John Greig, regarded as the greatest ever rainger who has refused to pay back his EBT. Its his money and hes keeping it.

Did Dundee play well ? ( I also thought they did ok), or was it we were playing with 8 men for most of the game
Outwith the Goal, Stokes very very poor, 3 times the ball was played into the box for LHS attacker to run onto, he was nowhere to be seen
Commons was non existent ( yes first game for quite a few weeks) and is becoming a concern to me ?
Mathews really struggling, thought his creative play for 2nd goal was exceptional, thought that would have given him some confidence, it didn’t
2nd half, Stokes as above
Efe struggling for form and confidence
Kayal, positional play, pulled Dundee onto us
Apologies, but just can’t see it in McGregor
So at end it was down to 7 against Dundee
Ps – the Dundee goal, was absloutely abysmal defending, agree on comments on VVD
Hail Hail
Arsenal fans slow getting back at half time, to busy tucking into their pies
De Gea saves, looks injured
God bless you, never tire of watching us score
against the hun.
