Did Dundee play well ? ( I also thought they did ok), or was it we were playing with 8 men for most of the game

Outwith the Goal, Stokes very very poor, 3 times the ball was played into the box for LHS attacker to run onto, he was nowhere to be seen

Commons was non existent ( yes first game for quite a few weeks) and is becoming a concern to me ?

Mathews really struggling, thought his creative play for 2nd goal was exceptional, thought that would have given him some confidence, it didn’t

    2nd half, Stokes as above

Efe struggling for form and confidence

Kayal, positional play, pulled Dundee onto us

Apologies, but just can’t see it in McGregor

So at end it was down to 7 against Dundee

Ps – the Dundee goal, was absloutely abysmal defending, agree on comments on VVD

    Hail Hail

  2. so zombieco international may not win the championship, as if that would be a financial disaster- the spl is hardly flush, will it make that much difference to a screwed organisation ?

I agree that they can’t afford to pay him off, but if he stays they won’t go up this year, high they can afford even less. I think they must be realizing that.

just trying to work through various scenarios (fire before or after administration) but no scenario really makes sense.

So, just a hunch that I think he will be gone soon.

Sadly we never seem to make use of February Door!

We keep on collecting spare parts!

  5. Jeez Man U defender tries to roll the ball into the path of the Arse striker but is saved by another defender.

Wilshere now injured, quality game. Where the hell are the goals :O)

Watching both games today, our problem is wee allow teams to play.

Dundee looked to play football and we allowed themtoo.

Diet orcs tried and orcs didn’t allow them, we can’t allow teams to play through us as we did today and maybe allow diet orcs to do next week….

a win is a win, I’ll stick with the champions

Bigger problem in the BT household is the fact that mini and pl shook hands twice today…

she has been sent to her room and i am now eating her mcflurry….8))

  8. Nice to hear Scott Brown is staying in Paradise and he knows it, need him back for Thursday night to get these Austrians out of the way. Kept in touch with the game on CQN and glad with the three points while watching Ireland beating the arrogant Aussies in a tremendous game of rugby.

Despite Man utd having a defence you could drive

a circus through they lead……funny ole game.

SB is not the answer. jF had some nice touches and runs today. Would love to see the little man if he had a proper midfielder who could spot his runs and get the ball to him. SB isn’t that guy (at least not often enough)

Just saw the Man U goal. Has any team ever deserved a lead less? (Other than the obvious?)

  11. Funny that SB has been a first pick for many managers through the years but posters on here apparently see him otherwise.

Maybe you guys should be in football management, or maybe not.

What would you say SB brings to a team?

all this next old firm game shite,we don’t even play

    the same sport any more.

  14. Evening all.

Thoroughly wet but thoroughly enjoyable day at Celtic Park. I thought we were good value for the win but Dundee are a good football team, which is good to see. Hope our young Belgian isn’t too badly injured.

For me, the highlight was James Forrest. How we’ve missed his foraging and running at teams.

I gather the undead were brutal over in Edinburgh.

Great engine, great attitude, not overly blessed with football but a managers first name on the team sheet.

  16. I am one of those who is more than happy that our captain has signed on for 4 more years. I would like to see Johansen made deputy captain, as he has a similar drive to our captain. Mulgrew seems to me to drift through the game. He and Commons and Stokes seem to compose their own team within the team.

SB has his strengths. And he offers things that our other midfielders don’t. He has the qualities that are valued in Scottish football. Hence, he has been selected by British managers. But Rd says he wants to move to a more free flowing continental style, which really isn’t sb’s style. I suspect that rd plays him because he feels that SB might be the best option at the moment, but I don’t see him being key going forward. But, hey, it’s all about opinions.

  20. ‘Hearts moved nine points clear at the top of the Championship as Rangers lost their discipline at Tynecastle’

what a headline, never thought I’d see it, well done to sally for sending them out totally wound up and emosh, on adrenalin and muddled thoughts of the redundancies: not a bad idea if you’ve quality but ehhh the current spanners – not likely! AND a ref who followed guidelines on discipline- fupp me sideways.

  21. Just seen Guidetti’s goal.

One word on bodyshape – Larssonesque.

Day of babysitting relieved by Hun conversation overheard in Costa coffe shop – at around 2.30 one of 3 Orcs yelps ‘penalty!’ after monitoring progress on his phone.

On cue across table a fist punches the air and a too-loud-for-coffee-shop unpunctuated speil of:

‘F’ckin’ telt ye we’d ge twan they f’ckin Tims’ll be greetin aboot refs the f’ckers Ah’ll take the f’ckin’ point a draw fur 10 men’s a brilliant comeback result keeps us right in the f’ckin’ hunt big time go oan the Gers!’

    ‘Um, it’s a pen fur Herts, Davy…’

    FZZZZZZTTTTZZZZZZZZZZ went the synapses.

The rest was unintelligible bitterness weighed down by misery with swells of staunchness and venom flavoured by the one comprehensible word, ‘F’kinMcCoist’.

I never even bothered to cover the kids ears as I looked away; too busy trying not to explode with hilarity.

    Gotta luv dem dumb Orcs.

  22. Oh, and appreciate the updates on here today – some of the bhoys are better than Celtic Tv commentary; though that wouldn’t be so difficult…

Pleased with today’s game, numerous players coming back from international duties, we were playing an attack minded team, who closed us down quickly,

a dubious referee, impatient booing fans,

and yet we overcame these obstacles

    with a nice wee win,

    well done Celtic, and RD.

    Happy Celticing

  24. Watching the Arse v Man U game here in Itália.

    Di Canio is the summariser.

    Ffs!

He’s spoken more than the commentator!

…shut the feck up ya c***!

    HH!!

  25. Sandman

Yes, updates here valuable especially when you’re depending on Rob McLean. He was so disappointed when Kayal appeared to have scored a third

    “That’s it….”, was his comment.

Another 2 minutes of nail-biting for me!

    Great entertainment at the Emirates.

Some contrast to the earlier ploughing match, where the Herts,by the way, were mince until Sevco’s red card.

I know Alister McCoist is being hailed on these pages as the worst ever manager who has picked a team that emerges from the home dressing-room at Ibrox but I would like another name to be considered. That man is John Greig, regarded as the greatest ever rainger who has refused to pay back his EBT. Its his money and hes keeping it.

    Ally. . . . . . always in his shadow !
