    Not the best of games so far. Swedes are up for it and not afraid to get stuck in. Maybe a wee change in tactics required Neil!!

    Think our problems lie in the middle with Kayal and Broon.

     

     

    Not mobile or dominant enough. If they can liven it up, dominate, feed the ball players, we can take several of fthis mob.

     

     

    For a while there in the first half hour they looked ready to crumble, but we never got the breakthrough.

     

     

    More of the same tempo, though, with some better linkup and we must get something.

    Some one posted earlier this week that this mob have scored over 50 % of their goals this season in the last half hour of games.

     

     

    This coupled with the fact they are obviously so much more match fit than Celtic and given the half chances they created in the first half, I’d settle for 0-0 tonight.

    Booing him constantly does not seem such a clever idea.

    Agreed. who do we sacrifice as 2 bodies in there will not be enough, especially as the game progresses and their fitness tells.

    All of our attacks come down the wings, or long diagonal balls from the back…. we NEED someone in the middle of the park who can be the fulcrum…. doesn’t have to be fancy … just someone who can take the ball from the backs, and spot and make a pass…

     

     

    As much as he has come one, that is not SB’s game… and, honestly, BK is just not at the races..

     

    options? … bring on ledley… or move KC back to the middle, or even Matthews in the middle (I know it sounds crazy… and I prefer ML as right back, but I think AM has a good football brain, and might do the job tonight).

    This was always going to be a close affair. The fact is that we can play a lot better and I doubt that Elfsborg can. First goal is pivotal and hopefully it will go our way.

    Can’t believe the Bhoys at Celtic TV are saying Jamesy is our main attacking threat, he’s had two runs and doing his standing on the edge of the game again, more from the midfield needed this half…two men can’t do the work of 3 or 4..
