    Happy Easter bhoys and ghirls!

     

    Good play yesterday and pace but dear oh dear our shooting is atrocious. IF Eddie Howe is manager I hope he brings in the players each afternoon for shooting practice!

     

    Referee? Apart from the obligatory ‘missed’ fouls, there were 4 or 5 substitutions and a lengthy stoppage for the Falkirk player yet NO added time? We were winning 3-0 what difference does it make? Well the referees know that they can referee our games in any way they choose and get away with it. Not good, we say nothing nor does the ‘media’ we deserve it.

    VP- as good a football documentary as ive seen, it took you back to the days perfectly, a team of us went to Dublin for the Italy World Cup game,you would have thought that the Republic had won the WC that night.

    Neil Lennon spoke out about referees having more or less a Free (masonic) Hand when it came to added time after 90 minutes. Nothing was done. If Celtic were up 2 or 3 up no time was generally added BUT if we only 1 ahead you could gaurantee there would be 3 minutes+ would be added for chance of an equaliser.

     

    Anyway thanks for the updates last night (need to remember only 6 hrs difference now) and a very Happy Easter to you and your families

    FESS19- 5 subs,Falkirk player got treatment before he limped off no time added in either half,another form of cheating, not to mention guys who have bets on as well.

    Cant remember seeing an EH press conference .If he gets the job i hope hes a tough and smart cookie cos he aint goin to know what hit him.by that i meaning the amount of bullsh*t he’l have put up with from our hun friendly media.our best managers have all been able to deal with the mediamob Stein, O’Neil and Rodgers.Obv thats if he gets job..but just a thought.

    Eddie Howe always comes across as very knowledgeable,and personable,in interviews.He will have no problem with our dumb ass press pack.

     

    If it all comes off,a massive clean sweep of the old guard,not struggling through to win the 10,might be the best thing to happen to us.We would be sitting in May,with the same host of problems we have now,probably worse off.A hopefully,bright new future awaits,instead of same old.Reading that Cook,Howes CH,through his B,mouth days,will be available on a free for next year,and would be possibly his first signing.Still only 29,with a wealth of experience.Looking forward to all of this.It could be a bright new start for us all.

    Again watching last night,Kenny.I have no idea what to make of this guy.The odd time,he can look good,many others,like a rabbit caught in the headlights.Looking to offload the ball anywhere,usually backwards.Would not be spending big money on him.

     

    Laxsalt has got better game by game.He is a dogged wee bassa.I like him.Pity Taylor or him were not RBs.

     

    I know he ain’t everybody’s favorite,but the difference Jamesy made last night was stark.His goals and assists,sorely missed.

    the complainers about Jamesie, just moved onto Ryan, but it was beyond parady that Sydney came on and said he was rubbish again “falkirk reserves is his level” sort of thing.

     

     

    10 goals and 17 assists in 28 league matches last season.

     

     

    I would contend, he was the biggest miss of this season, the injury done us more than any single other factor outfield.

    the loan deals from the english leagues, well the outfield players are not up to much, overpaid, aye sure they are respective internationals, but , the quality aint what it used to be.

    Your logic is spot-on and to most observers would seem correct.

     

     

    However, 10IAR was an opportunity to laud it over “them” for eternity. They can talk about 55, 56 even 60 but winning the 10 would’ve hurt them eternally and would be something momentous and historic – never to be repeated.

     

     

    We didn’t do it, we move on, rebuild and start the fight back.

     

     

    However, I’m not going to pretend it doesn’t hurt. I would’ve sacrificed a season or two for 10IAR.

    I hope the new manager has a bigger say in who we sign.

    I don’t mind one loan player – especially when we’re going to need a very expensive rebuild. However, four is far too much. No serious club would have a starting eleven of four loanees.

     

     

    Thing is, the ones we have now will almost certainly be too expensive to sign permanently.

    In all seriousness though, his wages won’t be and you can be sure there’ll be a gullible club down south that will pay it….maybe a mid-ranking Championship club.
