In terms of comfort, our goals to chances ratio is very uncomfortable.
Some misses down to last minute defending but others just lack of composure.
Better second half though.

FT. 1-0 Celtic and 3 points gained. However much work to be done. It’s like watching the same film over and over. Celtic with the vast majority of possession failing to break down an organised defense. Albeit this film had an alternative ending – this time the opposition didn’t score from their single foray into our half.
Have Scots refs given the official ‘green’ light for opposition players to assault Celtic players with impunity?

I agree with you already this season we have seen Naismith and others at Hearts , the troubled guy for Partick on Brown, KT continually tackled late and high and more of the same today, and no comment but plenty deflection in the case of Naismith , we are lossing the PR press output we need to assertively establish control on the output we give the Press and talk about our concerns and not their agenda.

Well, we got three deserved points. It won’t be easy this league Hamilton made it difficult. But definitely doable.
We really need to bring up the referees again, the tackles at the end of the game were terrible.
A green light after McGowan’s assault on Tierney… the guy should have already been on a yellow from a first half tackle in Kieran – diabolical stuff.
We have a player in Mikey Johnston, the real deal.
We needed that WIN, it starts to turn things back round now.
Especially with Steven Gerrard’s Sevco Rangers their “perfect ten”* that seen them getting one foot in Europe on Thursday now becomes a “perfect” eleven so we need to win to keep in contention – of course Hearts are another team who have made a perfect start to the season…
Important 3pts, given recent events. Now onto Thursday.
On train, and only caught part of 1st half which wasn’t great viewing, performance wise. Team just not clicking at the moment. Selection & formation changes don’t help, I’d say.

Our chances are not clear due to opponents having last third packed.
Our tempo is one paced and predictable allowing opponents time to set and organize.
Johnston gave us something different.
And if JF would face forward more and have balls played in front of him it would stretch opponents and take them out of comfort zone.
Our midfield does not create or defend enough.
It looks like no one understands their role or position.
Craig Gordon is a showstopper but poor at everything else.
We also play 12 men on a weekly basis so not easy

Any journey starts with the first step, so hopefully 2 home victories and a couple of reinforcements over the next week.
I had no alternative but to keep up with the game via Sportsound.
I’ve got to give the commentator his due, he’d abviously prepared well to be able to rattle off negative stats and comments for 90 minutes, but the half time interlude with Richard Gordon and Tom English was quite something. When John Hughes tried to interject with anything remotely objective or balanced he was simply cut off.
This is what happens when you invite a fox in to your hen house. Hopefully a good 7 days will shut them up for a while.
And I must try to watch a replay of. the game at Firhill today. If those Radio Scotland guys are to be believed it was one of the best games ever played.

On the subject of exposure to larger tv audience and production values.
Fox lost EPL rights to NBC a few years ago.
But now are showing Bundesliga on Sunday mornings on their regular channel.
I watched the Bundesliga on Fox sports sometimes and it lacked something in camera work, commentary and production.
The commentary and production are first class and the game between Dortmund v Leipzig has skill ,class and excitement.
Between this and boring Chelsea v Newcastle i switched over from it is no contest.
If the tv companies spent more on Spanish,French and German leagues the EPL audience would diminish .

Supposedly that was Rangers (sic) ‘first real bump’.
Surely a draw with Motherwell can’t compare with liquidation?
Have to say that was a fairly boring match and the pantomime around Boyata was an unnecessary distraction.
Good to get 3 pints and a clean sheet but we are not out of our form slump yet. That was a home match vs Accies and we struggled to score against them.
Only Rogic in the first and KT in the 2nd half produced any penetration. The Lustig:Forrest combination was particularly weak (I can’t believe Tom English’s praise for James’ performance today). Too many hospital balls sent that way with the left back poised to smash him as soon as he receives the ball.
At least the LB played the game fairly. Hamilton’s RB committed a blatant assault on KT minutes from the end. Only in this country is that NOT a red card.
On to Suduva and, hopefuly, a boost in both form and result before next Sunday.
In contrast to many poster predictions, I am confident we will have new defenders to assist us this window, but I expect we may still see Boyata leave (with Comperr and Simo going later on) as we need talent and hunger to face this season’s campaign.
We have the Suduva game to
Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on
Evening all.
Just back from game. Enjoyed that second half.
Moussa terrific, KT very good.
Hacked off by Boyata’s conduct but he was excellent today. The uncomfortable truth is he is miles better than any other CB we have.
Not read back so apologies if this has been posted already.
I heard at the game earlier from the Coatbridge bhoys that Lennybhoy having fallen and fractured his Left elbow when slipping off of a pavement in town during the week underwent an operation at Hairmyres at 4pm this afternoon.
We are supposed to be tracking Jones along with the Huns,of Kilmarnock,me personally and don’t rate him, also what about the development young Bhoys, is there not one who can play as a winger,if not,why not convert young Henderson into a winger,he has a bit of speed about him.
Great three points for us on late summer, bread and butter supper, a stadium filled with diehards, and a few will I go, or maybe no, supporters not yet in winter football mode .
With the benefit of hindsight you could see why Brendan Rodgers selected Mikey Johnston in Lithuania, he was trying to inject freshness because he’s seen the same movie, we the fans have tired of at CP , and he’s pleading his case in the transfer market, where a week is a long time in football.
Routine wins are fine and Celtic supporters will always find something else to do on Hamilton days. The Accies enjoyed the first half following their instructions to man mark Celtic’s very recognizable format, James Forrest was penned in and Keiran Tierney thrown forward was continually frustrated in the layers of defenders on the left.
Maybe 3rd season blues affect us all, but there is a staleness with only three games gone permeating Celtic, and its not just down to Brendan Rodgers opined summer time transfer musings, it’s clearly because we haven’t spent enough of our Champions League millions.
Missing you already Stuart Armstrong,, swapped our bench for Southamptons at least there was flashiness and quiffs, but crop tops MacGregor Rogic Brown Lustig Ntcham for various reasons have all looked like the they’ve played thirty, not three SPL games.
Dedryk Boyata easily survived the silly wee boys brigade and managed to provide something we’ve missed, and at least look like a Celtic centre back, and should his expected sale not happen, he’s a shoe in for 02/09/18.
