Boyata not fit to wear the jersey banner? I’m not happy with his behaviour. I didn’t mind people booing when the team was read out. However once the game starts, real Celtic supporters get behind the team.
Those behind the banner should be questioning whether guys in their section booing a player during the game are fit to be called Celtic supporters Imo..

just in from the game, my thoughts
delighted with the 3 Pts.
but our performance was dire , continual performances like that to day and there will more empty seats to go along with thousands missing today, we are now back to the Ronnie D day’s , a shadow of the high tempo pressing game we have previously enjoyed, no one in midfield wanting the ball causing our defensive to move the ball sideways and backwards all day , we could have played all day and none of our forwards would have scored in took villain DB to get us out of jail even BR from my vantage point in main stand spent most of the game in the dugout unusual for him , something is not right and this could get messy.

Celtic supporters put their heart and hard earned income into supporting Celtic.
So to see supporters vent their anger at a well paid player who feigned injury and may have cost us a Champions league place is understandable.
A bigger worry for me would be a company who refused to reinvest some of their substantial profit needed to use someone like him due to a lack of depth.

If the coach is going to continue with the same purposeless possession tactics he may as well sit in the dugout.
Time for Brendan to take responsibility and effect change in our approach and tactics.
We are not the sum of our parts and this is not just about this season.
Stephen O ,Donnell, the Killie right back, would be a good buy for Celtic.

Fair point. I just want to see Celtic win games. While the guy is playing, I don’t think we need any more distractions causing problems for us on the park.
For what it is worth, I can’t wait to see the guy out the door and I hope his future in football doesn’t go well for him. However when he is playing for us, that is different.

Well done, Celtic.
And well done, Hamilton.
As far as they were concerned that was their best organised, sharpest defensive performance against the country’s best side in years; some outstanding last-ditch interceptions and blocks; great focus and shape maintained all 90 minutes.
As far as we were concerned, we lack a bit of verve and fresh energy. However, we do now have a matured mentality that gets us over the line in games like this. Attack v Defence for 90 minutes is neve reasy, mentally.
Expectations can weight heavy. They did not come to entertain. It was a bannana skin in waiting.
A triumph for irony in big Dedryck scoring the winner; a scrambled effort after many flowing attacks had produced nothing.
Booing him? Tut-tut, weans who need to learn the Celtic way. Boo him off the park, never on it; you don’t boo The Hoops, you petulant wee fannies – roasters who harangued the great Samaras should have been a lesson.
In any case, barring a grovelling apology for the CL debacle and an oath of devotion written in his own blood, I hope the big prick is gone by Friday; there are more deserving of the jersey.
MOTM – Broon. Ridiculous, relentless presence that broke them down, set us up. No right to be at it so intensely given his injury problems but a perfect example to all around; domestic or glamour, he’s on it, driving the agenda.
At some point, our strikers will click. At some point, our midfield creatives will flow; we have too much quality in our squad and management for that NOT to happen; next Sunday ater a Thursday warm-up would be just SWEET.

SPL teams have now had 3 years to suss Brendans favoured formations and set themselves up accordingly. As expected Hamilton did that today. If we plan to continue with what could be considered to be our style of play then we need players able to unlock the defensive formations we are generally up against. PR7 gave us that option for a year before injury ruled him out for last season, Sinclair did what he has done at previous clubs and has lost form and JF is, as always, erratic. The 2 new boys, Morgan and Arzani could fulfill this role, but will need time to adjust. Once this happens we should see some improvement, especially if we also get an experience centre half.

The banner was in poor taste as was the persistent booing from the GB. I saw a few punters in the north stand give them an under arm GIFUY when Dedryk scored. Fair play to Dedryk, he was outstanding and coped well with the occasion. His teammates clearly think highly of him. It makes you wonder what is actually going on behind the scenes. More on that later.
As for the performance, first half was much like last season when we notched up only 11 home League wins out of 19 attempts. Not good enough, too slow and too predictable. The second half was better and had it not been for some errant finishing we would have won more comfortably. Finally we managed a goal from a set piece and that is what made the difference today, they are so important. I like the look of Mikey J and hope he gets more games. I do wonder what the future holds for Sinclair and Kouassi, both seem well out of the picture.
Hamilton bring little to the division, they have crap support, a terrible pitch and employ draconian tactics. Throw in a hun infested boardroom and it’s safe to say the sooner I see the back of them the better. In the last minute we had a free kick high up the pitch and yet still they declined to leave one single player up front hoping for a breakaway, it just isn’t football.
