  1. Re: Boyata. Think-You’re selling your car.

So you want to sell your car because you want a new one and you want to get the best price.

You give it a good clean and wash, you might even treat it to a valet and a wax. You make sure the engines running nicely in case they want a test drive. You talk it up and accentuate its best features, might even ‘exaggerate’ a little. On no account do you mention that time it broke down when you were on your way to that hot date with the little cutie who never spoke to you again and took off with your most deadly rival. Never. As far as they’re concerned its ‘reliable’ and ‘never lets you down’.

Sometimes though after you’ve done all that, you might just look at your old car and think,’know what! its a pretty good car. Might just keep it’!

  2. BMCUW,

Thanks mate, the bus journey was interesting if nothing else. I had to change buses at Broxden and was grateful for that. Why I hear you ask? When I was sitting waiting to board the bus there were 3 pissed up Tims staggering about the concourse, 2 guys and a younger girl. She was somewhat ‘overdressed’ – kitted out in a Celtic top and what appeared to be a pair of cami knickers and totally out of her box.

Well I got on the bus and yes you’ve guessed it they boarded just before departure and sat immediately in the two rows behind me. Apparently they had been drinking for 2 days solid, it was her first Celtic game but next time she’s not being allowed to drink the day before the game but the ’Coke’ will be ok. If I had to listen to how much two of them loved one another from Broxden to Inverness there’d have been a murrrduuurr. ?

I wasn’t the only Tim travelling back to Inverness.

A very welcome clean sheet yesterday. I hope Boyata has learned from the last 2 months – might be the making of him. It’s a big week ahead.

The old saying many a slip between cup and lip can be very true at times we must not think we will just turn up against Suduva and we will hammer them and qualify for the Europa league. We struggled yesterday to put away Hamilton with our out of form forwards wasting chance after chance now I would rate Suduva at least as good as the Accies and they will rightly feel they have a chance in the tie.We must focus on the game and work our socks off to get a win and importantly entertain the support lets leave next Sundays game until after Thursday and earn European footballat least until Christmas. H.H.

  6. Thanks again Bhoys…Marspapa, M told me you called, time for my morphine…

Starry Plough think I may need to hand the batten over to Catman for the rest of this window, he does better than me. Petec, thanks.

    Will look in later…

    Until we meet again…

    Keep the Faith!

    Hail Hail!

  7. Good morning Friesdorfer. Aye the first bus was Dundee bound but they got off at Broxden and were going to walk to Perth. They were harmless, it was just the incessant repetitive dialogue that was doing my sober brain in.

As I say drunks are great company when you’re one of them but not when you’re sober ?

  8. Oops sorry Bobby, thanks to you too and Tam of course.

    Definitely away…

    Until we meet again…

    Keep the Faith!

    Hail Hail!

  9. Gooooood Morning CQN – ???????

Like Lennybhoy, thanks for the good wishes

Mine is nothing serious, pulled a muscle on my lower back, just above my A— affecting movement

Hopefully will be better by Thurs

    Can I just say

I was informed in June, we were after the CH that Leicester signed for £13m, that’s what we’re up against – ask Lennybhoy, I text him, to see if had anything ???

    Hail Hail

  10. From morrissey twitter.

    @CowdenTony @MIchaelKB34 @CelticBlog2018 @Themis1888 @keviebhoy7 @HarryBradyCU @Scarytoes @CelticRhebel @hoohimthetim @Hullbhoy @hen1rik @LightingMonkey @Scottsman1978 @WS2N28 @CQN @paullarkin74 Celtic confirmed to #Res12 team years ago that legal action would not result in sanctions against the club. Put that myth to bed.

The above tweet was because certain Celtic bloggers said the club would be punished if they tackled Res 12.

So the question must be asked why these Celtic bloggers are posting this nonsense about the club being punished if they tackle Res 12 when the club states they won’t be ?

  11. So Brendan is not planning for any other scenario than the one where Boyata will still be with us next week. Looks like no more CB signings .

  12. NORRIEM on 27TH AUGUST 2018 10:13 AM

I was informed in June, we were after the CH that Leicester signed for £13m, that’s what we’re up against

Filip Benkovic, we have been linked with him for the last few transfer windows. Now linked with a loan move from Leicester. Another pointless exercise on giving someone else’s player game time rather than just signing a player, a player to go into the first team, that’ will be our player and we can bu around.

  13. LennyBhoy – Good to see you on the mend D, see you on Thursday.

NorrieM – Back injuries are a pain in the A*** my friend, see you at the corner Thursday.

I have a mate going to Sunny Beach resort in Bulgaria today looking for info as to where to watch the games on Thursday and Sunday, any help appreciated.

    HH

  14. Moving to Aberdeen shortly from Glasgow, does anyone have any contact details for CSC’s in the area for getting up and down to Paradise?

  15. Auldheid. What a lot of nonsense.

Celtic allowed all this court of arbitration in sport nonsense without so much as a word. We all know it won’t ever get there. It will be quietly dropped.

But here you are with your ever mysterious “it’s in Celtics hands claptrap”.

Oh it’s all very mysterious. It’s all jam tomorrow and let’s face it it’s just stringing us all along.

I don’t know if your doing it deliberately auldheid (I hope not) but let’s stop the charade eh?

Celtic have utterly betrayed all of us and it’s as clear as the nose on your face they aren’t going to change.

So all of you stop whinging about the media (Paul 67 and Burnley in particular love to moan to distract you) stop complaining about the cheating etc because your own club are perfectly happy to buy into it.

  16. Lennon18,

Grampian Emerald CSC run a bus to every game. If you’re on facebook, search for their page and message them. Just started using them ( or should I say ‘joined’ ? ) this season.

  17. spikeysauldman on

    dont believe the hype

their defence + mcgregror are great ?

the centre half should have stopped the aberdeen equaliser, he slipped and was regdolled all day yesterday

Imagine that was jozo or even efe

hopefully moussa is just warming up

keeper all over the shop yesterday – hes good but not that good (as for the wee girls punch on hartley on the ground ?)

tavernier is the same player as last year – great going forwrad, great crosser of the ball, still as bad defending as when stokes tore him a new one

they have 1 tactic – down the wings and throw crosses in (pretty good at it) but not other tactics

  18. Speedy recovery to Lennybhoy and NorrieM

Old age related injuries ( sober falling-over and pulled muscles are both more common in the elderly, especially when you’re trying to do stuff you used to be able to with no after-effects ? )

Craig Levein admitted to hospital .

Hospital? Ironic. That’s where he ordered his team to put Scott Brown and half our players.

  20. Good luck too to Crag Levein. Not keen on him as a football man but no harm to him as a person.

  21. i'vehadtochangemymind on

looks like his heart to me – not a fan of his in a very big way but hope he recovers.

  22. Good mid-morning, the weather is fine, hope Edouard is back on it this morning, there’s a serious amount of skelping to be done this week…

Great to hear your ok Lennybhoy…

    NEGANON2 @ 10:54 AM

I’m never sure what you are trying to achieve when you have a pop at Auldheid.

It reminds me there are folk who come on CQN and bleat and moan and want the world to become a better place, a better place from their perspective – but their whole approach is vacuous:(

Auldhied does his homework, does the leg work, is pro-active and helps focus campaigns and highlight the real issues.

Him and his various cabals produce fact based analysis and try to hold those responsible to be accountable. The difference on his approach and yours is night & day…

From my perspective the conflagration that flared up in Scottish Football and the actions of the administrators to fan the disaster was little to do with Celtic FC. Outside been an affiliate of a dysfunctional football organisation(s) and being a victim of an artifice.

Still it was and is incumbent on Celtic to ensure, within their means, that the culprits and breaches are dealt with, that the faulty mechanisms (mechanics!?) And structures that allowed it to happen are fit for purpose and that going forward a level playing field and fair competition is established an properly regulated.

Playing the victim is not an option…

With obvious issues arising internally within the Celtic executive this summer and the continued realisation that the SFA, despite so called reforms, are totally inadequate as a governing body. The Celtic Executive now have to show their mettle.

  23. LENNYBHOY,

Thats what happens when places like Coatbridge start putting in these new fangled things like pavements.

Take it easy mate.Hope you get a tonic on Sunday.
