WATCH AGAIN AS KYOGO ANSWERS CRITICS

KYOGO FURUHASHI was at his determined and chance-snapping best with a double in the crucial 3-0 win over Hearts at Parkhead yesterday.

Amazingly, it was the first time the Japanese hitman had claimed two goals in one game this season.

Kyogo had hit 16 strikes – including back-to-back winners against Rangers – before he thumped two trademark efforts behind Zander Clark in the first-half in front of his appreciative fans.

Before the match, I asked the champions’ most potent marksman to display his killer instinct and distinctive cutting edge with a sell-out venue urging him on. I insisted Celtic Park on this occasion could provide the perfect platform for the popular Celt to fire back at his critics.

“Go get ’em, Kyogo!,” I said in yesterday’s CQN and I was more than delighted with the fleet-footed frontman’s response.

THE OLD ONE-TWO…Kyogo Furuhashi races away after claiming the first of his double against Hearts.

His double – plus Matt O’Riley’s classy penalty-kick – brought the much-required victory to push the champions six points ahead of their nearest challengers with Philippe Clement’s side facing Kilmarncok at Ibrox in today’s 1pm kick-off.

Then all eyes will be on the east end of Glasgow on Saturday for the fourth derby of the campaign with Brendan Rodgers’ men winning two and drawing one of the previous encounters.

Kyogo’s twosome against the Tynecastle club hoisted his goal tally to 18 for the season.

And we know there are a few more to come, don’t we?

Kyogo’s striking performance and the endeavours of his team-mates are well worth a second look – courtesy of those good folk as Celtic TV Unique Angle.

Please enjoy!
