  1. THE BLOGGER FORMERLY KNOWN AS GM on 26TH AUGUST 2018 8:45 PM

    ‘Boyata scores only goal as Celtic struggle past Hamilton’.

    Go and have a look at the BBC sports website and see if you can find a similar headline for any match or sporting performance over the weekend.

    Meanwhile, Rangers (sic) were involved in a ‘ six goal thriller’.

    The basic facts show Celtic won 3 points today and sit in second place. Rangers (sic) earned one point and are in fourth.

    I couldn’t believe what I was listening to on the radio today. It was crisis bingo from the first minute to last (was anyone else impressed by how vigilant Richard Gordon and his chums can be when they want to? How they were able to see banners, hear boos and weren’t afraid to highlight it? Yet, when all manner of stuff at other games is clearly visible and audible they seem quite blind and deaf).

    =======================

    In respect of Richard Gordon: Deafness or obedience?

    I wonder if he has ever realised that in this interview with Regan in October 2013 on SFA Licensing responsibilities around when Res12 was added to the Celtic AGM agenda

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6uWzxhblAt9YktGc0kwWjJCY1E/view?usp=sharing

    that Regan was either

    a) Knowingly lying in Richard’s face or

    b) Was displaying his ignorance of UEFA FFP Article 9 and so his incompetence as the SFA CEO.

    Article 9 – The core process

    1 The licensor must define the core process for the verification of the criteria and

    thus control the issuing of licences.

    2 The core process starts at a time defined by the licensor and ends on

    submission of the list of licensing decisions to the UEFA administration by the

    deadline communicated by the latter.

    3 The core process consists of the following minimum key steps:

    a) Submission of the licensing documentation to the licence applicants;

    b) Return of the licensing documentation to the licensor;

    c) Assessment of the documentation by the licensing administration;

    d) Submission of the written representation letter to the licensor;

    e) Assessment and decision by the decision-making bodies;

    ==> f) Submission of the list of licensing decisions to the UEFA administration. * <====

    4 The deadlines for the above key process steps must be clearly defined and

    communicated to the clubs concerned in a timely manner by the licensor.

    ——-

    The list was submitted on 26th May 2011 according to Traverso the highest authority in UEFA on Club Licensing.

    On Regan I’m going for option a)

    Why?

    His lips were moving.

    On Gordon whom I like listening to: Is he bound by obedience?

  2. I agree with the banner. He was needed and let us down. Why should he get an easy ride the big man could have been the difference. Glad to get the 3 points today. Hopefully we r coming out of this slump.

    The Motherwell bit threw me. :)

    oops well spotted , getting the lanarkshire teams mixed up.

  4. According to Yogi Hughes on Shortbread Don Robertson had a great game. In fact he was so gushing that he asked the commentator at one point whether he knew if the ref had played the game at a senior level as he used common sense and was reffing it like a good pro would want!

    Then I come on here and realise that you’re all paranoid after all :-)

  5. Goooood Evening CQN – ???????

    Bhoys I missed today’s game through injury ☹️

    And have just got a message from our other injured Bhoy – Lennybhoy

    He will try to get onto the blog tomorrow and thank everyone for the good wishes

    Now to the hooops, well done on victory today Bhoys

    We do need to get both the midfield and front back in sync though

    Another point

    The referee at Motherwell game also has a strange interpretation of the game, one sided

    Hail Hail

  6. The interesting comment for me from Gerrard wasn’t the bullshit about not thinking about Celtic, but this:

    ‘I want to win every single game I go into. *You can see that’s the plan*’.

    The football today was horrendous, clear your lines towards the striker with no passing game in evidence at all. Walter Smith tactics with a Walter Smith striker added to the squad to bring the fight. They could have won the game if they had tried to dominate possession through a passing game. Instead this ‘plan’ of Gerrard’s is to get nose in front and fight it to the death.

    No concern here about a challenge and I believe they will sell a player before Sunday to bring money in.

    The Ibrox creditor (allegedly) boiled the Motherwell centre half for rolling the ball away when the Sevs had a free kick… seconds later big not so GoldSon battered the ball after whistle had gone for a shy … for me Craig “creditor” Thompson is the biggest cheat of all …. just my opinion but he is a fly cheat better at breaking up the the play than Ngolo Kante & Neil Lennon combined … he is nothing but a cheating hun with a whistle

  8. Watched Sportscene, according to Stewart the Huns were spooked by Motherwell playing 2 up front and switched to a back 3. to give them a spare man. Tavernier was playing in midfield but still conspired to be a man down in defence. French Eddy is back in training tomorrow, i hope he gets half an hour on Thursday then teams up with Moussa on Sunday. They will not cope with the French trio.

    Re the Boyata situation, we wont get anyone better and ready by Friday so offer him a one year extension with a buy out clause at £10m. He can go in January or next summer.

  9. Gerryfaethebrig on

    Boiled = booked

    But am sure the ref would have boiled him in the 93rd minute if given the chance

  10. The pro Rangers anti Celtic coverage by the BBC which gathered massive momentum over the summer seems to align perfectly with Richard Wilson appt as Editorial Deputy there in April …

    Just saying like …..

  11. Not advising a FF type witch hunt but wishing some celtic fans would wake up and smell the coffee. Enough external forces trying to derail our club without everyone falling for their agenda and regurgitating it on here.

    Enough hunfiltrators and miserable ‘entitlement glory seekers’ on here without the mainstream following an MSM agenda. Wilson is as pro Rangers as any out there.

  12. thought when i seen line up .. hamilton were in for a hiding.

    sadly not.. didnt see game today but laughed when heard boyota got the goal..

    hard decisino for brendan , dont play him and have to accept a low bid during week and probably get a replacement thats no better.. play him and get on with things as every one deserves a 2nd chance. or play him , put on a face and hopefully get good offer mid week and able to replace him.

    Not happy like everyone else with this window.. lost armstrong and roberts and didnt buy the centre half and right back we badly needed. we have seen it all before.

    Interesting week coming up , havent been on in a long time so will try keep an eye

    up the celts

    Green Brigade? Self indulgent mob – their priorities are 1-GB, 2-GB, 3-GB, ….etc.

    If they want to spend the day booing Celtic players, move 100 yards to the left next week and stand with like-minded individuals.

    Watched Sportscene highlights in Tim pub after our match today. Every Tim in the pub was laughing at the defending by Goldson and Tavernier. KT, OE, MD and JF will destroy their defence next Sunday.

    ***********************************************************

    I’d just like to point out that I WAS NOT THIS MAN. In my opinion Robertson had the kind of game to which we’re going to have to get used. We’ll be kicked off the park at every opportunity and the ref will ignore it!

    Re Boyata. Just what I was thinking. Don’t think he will go this window. I think he’ll sign for another year ,

    slightly improved terms, Then go next summer with a better choice of destinations ,by which time we will have a new 1st choice CB bedded in.

    Thanks about that heads up about that rotten hun Richard Wilson brown brogues. Rank badyin. Looks like Jimmy Bell’s lovechild.

    Could be clever and offer him and agent 5% of any transfer fee to get them onside and keep him motivated. Better keeping that on the qt though.

  19. Would be doing handstands if we could get a 2-0 on Thursday.

    Then it’s Sunday…..Celtic have the worst defence in world football history and Stevie Gs Sevco have a mean streak, won’t be bullied and he has sorted out the defence…….both teams however have played 11 games and both have failed to win around half ( I think ) of them.

    Despite one defence being absolutely brilliant and the other terrible both have lost 7 goals ( 4 of ours against the champions of Greece and Norway ).

    Point being, this is them flying and Celtic stuttering, once the transfer window is shut and we know if we will have ELfootball, I would hope that the players and fans and the whole club settle down and start getting the job done- ie winning games most weeks and winning trophies.

    If we win 2-0 or better on Thursday I think we’ll hammer Sevco and the season will take off.

    Hope Boyatta stays in the team now.

    Grinding out one nil wins is fine by me.

    Winning leagues isn’t easy. If we win the league this season on goal difference thanks to an injury time penalty I will be happy

  21. I , too, had wondered why Richard Wilson had disappeared from Radio Sevco programmes. Interesting to hear he is now pulling the strings off air. He was once called out for being an apologist for the Sevco board live on air by a fellow pundit. Apologist – more like a paid plant.

    Wishing you a speedy recovery.

    Exiled Tim

    Come on back, we need your grumpiness

  24. Thought we were poor today. Very laboured in our build up, lacking urgency and drive.

    We missed Ntcham – hopefully he isn’t the next to spit the dummy.

    That said, with everything that’s been going on, a win is a win is a win. Made me laugh that Dedryck scored it – real slap in the face for the boo-bhoys.

    Brendan has a responsibility to play his best team, whilst managing the squad. Boyatta is miles and miles away our best defender. I hope he stays, even for one more season. We can sell him next summer once we have a replacement in the team.

  25. I have got to laugh at some of you.

    Auldheid in particular.

    You can complain all you like. But the people who run Celtic have completely shafted you all. They didn’t give a damn about the cheating and they have obstructed any attempt for justice. They have colluded with our enemy.

    Or perhaps after all we as Celtic supporters are the common enemy.

    Stop bleating about the bbc, the cheating, racism etc unless you are willing to deal with the enemy within.,
