BACK TO BASICS – GLASS HALF FULL on 20TH MARCH 2023 7:10 AM
Big Jimmy – factual, sobering account if a senseless murder committed by a senseless person from a bigoted family.
Scum beget scum.
One challenge if I may.
Mo Mowlam, as Secretary of State, wouldn’t have been close to the details.
She would have relied on advice from her deputy, Adam Ingram.
A known Orangeman and a nasty piece of work.
He knew the story and did what he did
…………………
I know NOTHING of Adam Ingram, but I accept your explanation…
However, MO MOWLAM having becoming involved in supporting Campbell, had the responsibility make HERSELF FULLY AWARE of the actual FACTS, before lobbying for that Scumbag to be moved to an Irish prison as a so called ” Political Prisoner”, in my view.
” Political Prisoner ” my ARSE……Campbell was just a HUN who hated Catholics, Celtic and anyone who supported Celtic etc.
NOTHING more than a COLD BLOODIED KILLER….Who I would have HUNG….Gladly.

Campbelss Family members who tried to destroy evidence, and who ALSO ATTEMPTED to give HIM an ALIBI….despite KNOWING what he had done……SHOULD have been in JAIL also ?
Heres hoping that the TWO Week Break from Fitba will aid REO and AARON in having Treatment and Resting Up before Celtic play Ross County and then the Huns ?
Any team would miss those Two CLASS BHOYS .

The key take out from the table is that Saturday’s match was the first in 2 years where Celtic has been awarded a penalty which has been given when trailing or drawing a match which we have gone onto win.
Every other penalty we have had has not seen our position, in terms of points won from that game, improve.
Rangers, on the other hand received 14 such critical penalties when either trailing or level in matches where they have gone on to pick more points up than they would have.
Evidence suggests Rangers get penalties when needed to impact on results and Celtic do not.
The only issue with this is that perhaps a counter argument could be that Celtic have been so dominant in this period that they have never required penalties to secure wins.

Also hoping Iwata and Taylor get good rest and recovery. Both of these seem to be carrying injuries also.
I am unsure Re Carl S as to whether he is playing for Sweden ? I hope not as I also understand he has been playing through the pain barrier the past few weeks.
For me having our best 11 fully fit and on the park on April 30th is the key objective. Saturday showed we can and should have enough to win the league without the best 11 each week but the biggest game is the semi final.
A fifth treble in 7 years would bust them. A month of celebration of Celtic in May leading up to a Cup Final in early June would be incredible.
That lot seeing their ‘most decorated club of all time in all the world’ title slip to within 1 trophy of their nearest rivals ……
The semi final will set Ange and Celtic up for a truly special month and next year of supporting Celtic.
A big shout out to our ghirls who beat Hearts 1-5 yesterday.
Let’s hope for a similar result when we play the ” Rangers ” on Monday 27th March.

a) Definite penalty for Hibs (which I couldn`t see at the game) but why was Srarfelt so stupid?
b) Why was the Abada one not a penalty?

It was Donald Dewer who stopped the political gimmick of scumbag Jason Campbell.
Is it right that he is now a father and getting on with his life when the family of Mark Scott a promising Glasgow Academy student are still suffering.?

Quite a chilling proximity to the event for you. I remember at the time that it reminded me of getting headbutted outside there in 86 on last game of the season. Me and my pal always left bang on the whistle and went that route to make our train to Ayrshire in time for tea and go out. Usually crossed the road near that pub as they hung outside a lot.
A very sunny day so I had shades on. The headbutt was rubbish and side on so my shades came off but he got a cut on his forehead. My mate ran but i stayed to casually pick up my shades and put them back on to wind them up. I knew I could outrun drunk older guys.
When Mark was murdered, it really hit home how stupid, arrogant and naive I was as a teenager.

I hope Abada stays with us for a while but if he goes good luck to him.
I do not think he is the player he thinks he is but none the less a good player in the Scottish game against less than mediocre opposition.
Stay for another year or 2 and improve/try against European opposition.
Best of luck to him whatever he decides.

Jason Campbell was released from prison in January 2011 after serving 14 years which was the minimum tariff imposed on his life sentence for murder.

More should’ve been jailed for such a senseless loss of a precious life.

So Jason Leitch ( Dentist ) now admits shutting schools may have been a terrible mistake and has impacted a generation.
Follow the science they said. The science does not seem to have been there.
Seems to be more about control and authoritianism.
So called conspiracy theories are unravelling daily..

Season 21/22 and 22/23 till last week.
Both teams 66 games played.
Celtic got 11 penalties
Ra Angers got 19
At the time when the penalties were awarded in the game at crucial times ie. when drawing or losing…..
Celtic got 2 of their 11 penalties.
Ra Angers got 14 of their 19 penalties
That’s my easy to understand summary, there’s more in the stats but those are the easy ones to bat away a simpleHun.
Superb post….

I agree and I am sure many others do,too. The problem is agreeing on our best 11 !!
`keeper and back four, easy;
Calmac and Hatate, easy.
Third midfielder and front three, not so easy.
I`m glad we have a Manager who knows what he is doing !
