The point SFTB and Burnley are making is that there are other places you can do that stuff. There must be a comments thread on a mainstream media site you can complain on.
‘not lazy journalism’ is the sub heading of this site. Whilst it isn’t necessarily the case that complaining about Celtic is ‘lazy journalism’ or perhaps more apt, lazy thinking, it is the case that doing so 15 minutes into a league game serves a similar agenda to the mainstream media, i.e. feeding the lowest common denominator with what they want – drama, argument and ultimately the diminution of our collective goals as a club.
It is the case that CQN is supposed to be an antidote to petulant and thoughtless commentary. That it isn’t, sometimes, is the fault of all, myself included, who contribute, but we must all acknowledge that in the face of this Paul hasn’t changed the tone of the blog once.
Otherwise, in any other forum, you make some good points coherently.

Sitting in the second row of the top tier north stand, the roof projects about a gazillion feet out above ma heid…..and I’m still gettin soaked….biddy scottish rain!!!!!
Took (-2) @ 7/4….game on.
Strangely, I would have preferred it to be still 11 v 11 in order to give us more of a clue as to whether any progress has been made. Certainly, before the red card, it was pretty even. However, it was good play which led to the free kick and goal, nicely taken by JG.
Enjoyable first half. Been impressed by Scepocic, clever player who links up well with those around him.
Game was even enough up to red card. Teams not afraid of us anymore, they are now coming to Celtic Park and having a go and we are having difficulties coping. Great FK by Guidetti (Sign him up Peter), we should have had at least 2 more since the goal as Killie have changed tack and gone into defensive mode. We should see it out from here but I’ll still breathe a bit easier if we get a 2nd. Sad to see all the empty seats at CP.

You are right, of course. Too many too often expect and demand too much. They are like the hordes over at Ibrox. They believe they deserve better. I suspect the bulk of them have only started watching Celtic for the past 20 or so years. 50 and 60 years ago, our expectation levels were very very much lower and our team, in spite of having some tremendous players, were far more inconsistent than today.
My only gripe is that I can’t attend a match on a Sunday @ 1pm.
