Early in the game it was noticeable that Brown kept giving Boyata simple short passes then made himself available to receive ball back, good captaincy letting him get early touches and a few easy passes after his below par performance on Sunday.
In my life,we have never had a captain like Broony before.Big Billy was a gentleman captain, scored some great, important goals, but for sheer, drive, determination, effort, and no little skill,Broony is the best I have seen.
I do not know why he is not a legend now,as Henrik was when he was still playing, but he is.
As my father told me,of the great players he had seen wearing the Hoops,Mc Donald,Fernie,Tully,Mochan,I will hopefully be telling mine of the fantastic”Broony”.Best Celtic captain I ever saw.Apart from Big Billy.
Dont know if anyone is watching the darts, but I would beat both with my wonky hand.SHOCKING.One looks, and plays as if he is pished, the other, well.

Was he aiming for you?
Heard he’s not a fan of Oxbridge :)

Got a new internet provider the other week, it’s a vast upgrade on what we had, the old mob, 2.5 meg tops, this one average 12 megs, so that is not the problem, when the game was on (frozen) tonight I did a speed check, it was running at 14.6 megs, ample width, when the pics weren’t frozen it was 12.2 megs, nothing wrong with the provider, so I assume it was what I was or wasn’t watching that was the problem, I could be wrong right enough.

Maybe Calum McG has been hitting the Christmas biscuits and cakes too much.
Not long back from the game. Stuffy first half, with proverbial, postage stamp peach from the quif . Better tempo in the 2nd half with another belter from Kieran . Ajer is a player I like, when a central defender is confident with the ball at his feet coming up the park it’s invaluable to a team like Celtic. All about creating space. Btw . Young Mickey is one graceful fitba player. Btw2. Gary Fraser needs his arse kicked . Roll on Saturday. HH
SSN are really scrapping the bottom of the barrel now. Our scoreline is accompanied by the line “Celtic with first win since defeat to Hearts”. Talk about hurting Huns.
A year ago today my Father passed away.
I have missed him every day since and will every day hence.
On his Gravestone we wrote Faith, Family, Celtic.
Simple epitaph for a simple, but great man.

And well done Celtic, one in a row
I had a perfect unbroken stream from Celtic TV
This suggests that the issue is not with the source.
For any subscriber with regular problems, freezing, buffering or disconnecting I would recommend getting in touch with the Webhelp team.
I have always found them to be helpful.
God Bless Old Doc, I loved the Pic of his ‘Celtic Room’.
Evening Doc
Respect to your Dad and I know your memories will be very fond
How are you?
See you Friday

Deary me.I am only getting 4,2 and my internet is great.I dont really know how it all works, but some people in the town are getting,12,to 14 and getting shit reception. We are Dinosaurs with this, but it can drive you nuts. Before I got the new cables,i was like a madman.Mrs TB said,”I dont care if its 2 Grand I am getting this sorted for him”.It was only 200 quid, but ,paradise.Might come and visit you one time.A flying visit, dont worry.
Doc.
I hope all of your family continue to honour his memory.
Great hymn I can’t hear often enough.

Ntcham for McGregor (who looked knackered tonight) and Dembele (big game player) for Edouard are the only changes I would like to see for Saturday.
——-
Calmac looks goosed. I would slot Bitton in beside Brown and SA further forward. Brendan will go with either Calmac or Ntcham.
Up front it’s either Moussa or Ed, Griff will be on the bench. Ed for me.
Ajer for me yes, it will be interesting to see if Brendan puts Jozo back in. He’s been honking lately. He doesn’t deserve his place back, it will be very interesting to see who starts.
Anyway,I think the Mods should have been on,at the weekend, when a poster was totally sexist, with his comment about Miss Mc Queen being the Scottish Heifer, disgraceful comment, cause I will tell you,I would give her one.
There ye are.
CorkCelt, the room pic is a great pic, he lived for those who adorned those walls.
CRC, happy celebrating a life well lived, looking forward to Friday buddy.
GG, We sang that at my Brother in Laws funeral many years ago, it’s a fitting hymn, hope they play it at mine, not for religious reasons, faith left me long ago, but for good cultural ones,
Job done. 3 more points. Ship steadied.
When can the new centre half play? January? I no longer understand the transfer windae.
How can we sign these dudes just now?
I could look it up I suppose…..
Anyone got an Echoe Dot?
Any thoughts on it?
Volume wise and sound quality what is it like?
Better just paying extra for the Alexa thing? Or the google version??
I used to understand the world. Now I’m confused by speakers
To stream the likes of Netflix, you should be comfortable with a 5Mbps download speed.
Unless you have other user devices connected.
Celtic TV non HD should run without issue on half of that.
To eliminate possible wifi issues try an Ethernet connection if you have a PC.
I believe Brendan does know better re playing time for young developing players beacause…
1- Proven track record of improving players at Swansea, Liverpool ( Sterling ,Suarez etc ) , we don’t .
2- Brendan and the coaches see these players up close everyday and will know exactly their capabilities, we don’t .
You don’t get to have many bad games at CP before you’re branded a dud or not up to it.
Putting a player into the fold before he’s ready in such an environment could be very detrimental to that young player.

Excuse the superfluous e in echo
RobertTressel, Signing legal contracts is not the same as football contracts, so we can sign them, but not register nor play them.
I’m just guessing, educated guessing, but guessing.
Doc
At a mass in Kuwait once the recessional hymns were Faith of Our Fathers and YNWA.
The Celtic and Liverpool fans were swaying at the back of the chapel preventing dumbfounded Yanks, Indians and sundry Europeans from leaving early.
For some reason they were never repeated.
Cheers doc
Highlights from tonight

I haven’t watched it yet so no promises on quality
I take it that the MIB was ok tonight. Didn’t see the game but noticed that he booked six Thistle players.
Back home, fed, watered(tea’d actually) and on the blog! Happy days are here again……
Slow to start but much better performances almost all round. Some better than others some outstanding and maybe one or two still need a wee break.
We got first goal scorer at 9s so what’s not to like!
TAL’s Toronto GCSC top still undefeated!!!!! Won’t be getting washed before Saturday.
Not really sticking up for Jozo, who I really do thinlk,is a very good defender, but to get one like him would cost you around 10 million,at least.Such is the way of the world. All defenders make balls up,you only have to listen to “Goals on Sunday”,when no goal is scored without it being a defenders fault.
My thoughts are,we are putting to much pressure on defenders, asking them to be “Beckenbaurs”.pass, yes, but 20 passes every minute,no.Too much.If you watch the good Euro teams, the CH wins it,gives it to his midfield, who then move it on.With us,he wins it,passes it,gets it back, passes it,gets it back, moves up,again receives the pass, passes it,and again receives it.Dont beleive me,watch the next game.Midfielders apart from Broony, are abrogating duties. Its not the CHs duty to build attacks, its the midfields.
I dont know if anyone saw Ajer tonight,10 minutes to go,looking for a midfielder to show for the ball, forced to turn into danger,TWICE,then giving them stick.
Robert Tressell,
i have just got an echo dot,
not done much with it,
but decent sound listening to radio/music,
you can connect speakers with wire or bluetooth
GG, you’d think that would attract congregations in!
RobertTressell, as said, opinions, and perhaps a nose thumbed to the SFA and their rules?
CCB
Excellent, your faithful support added to that
” lucky top” is what culminated in Brendan’s first treble. Keep it going sir.
Oh! Did you ever see CRC and Thunder Road?

Went to match tonight. Slight trepidation after Sunday. First half we lacked imagination but were in control. Thistle were well set up and made it difficult for us. Rather than employ a high press they simply parked the bus. Armstrong showed for everything and was our best player. His superb goal came from nowhere. Odsonne Edouard looked lively but lacked support. I felt we were static with many players not showing for the ball. James Forrest was good in flashes but drifted in and out of the game. I had hoped that Ajer would play centrally to bring the ball out of defence but he played on the Efe side of a back three so opportunities to bring the ball forward were limited.
In the second half we gradually looked more like our old selves. I felt more reassured. We had a lovely little four man, one touch piece of play which had Partick players chasing shadows. Mikael Lustig showed that his confidence had returned with several flicks and back heels and many other players seemed to take their lead from that. Kieran’s goal came from a similar spell of attacking one touch play and he thumped an unsaleable volley into the net at the goalies near post. Only my opinion but I felt that confidence is returning and if we step it up a bit more for Saturday against the Dons we should do OK.
Well pleased.
Efe????? = left
Unsaleable????? = unsaveable. Doh. Autocorrect even tried to correct my correction.

Well this Tim is happy tonight.
Happy to watch the team score two great goals.
Happy the support gave the team a rousing cheer at the start and in the 69th minute.
