You can dress that up anyway you want but to be brutally honest we where absolutely shocking

I would have those feckers in for a double session tomorrow

No tired excuses needed or accepted just summed up our season so far

I am deflated and more annoyed than anything else

  2. The performance was 6 months in the making.

It had moneyball written all over it — BR needs to get a grip.

We are going backwards at a rate of knots with team selections that defy common sense.

    Really poor.

Team in transition with the manager not in control.

Could get messy before it gets better.

    We have the money.

We have the gaps in the squad.

We have the opportunity — 4 weeks to make progress.

We started the match with the Summer 2016 squad.

What have we been doing for 12 months?

  3. Still 11 points and 17 GD above them. As I said yesterday a scuddin would have sent them intae a tail spin, was never going tae happen.

  4. mike in toronto on

Pass makes to Ajer, boyata, Tierney, Gordon,. Ntcham was decent in the short spell. Sinclair tried, but it wasn’t there for him today. Brown was good and bad in equal measure. Feel bad criticizing Dembele as he got no service, but did nothing. Rest did nothing.

If kouassie is out of the picture, We need a proper midfielder to Marshall and link up the various parts of the team

  5. Ps we need a keeper who can play the ball on the ground and doesn’t panic. A right back and a Centre half who can do similar would be appreciated.

Craig is a great shot stopper, but lacks the confirmdence and vision required from a ball playing goal keeper. Defence panic on his behalf.

Has the ball at his feet then boots it up for a 50-50 header. Not good enough. We either play the ball on the ground or we don’t.

Really raging with that today. Huns think they are it! Needed put back in their box today and the opposite happened.

    Scum!!!

  6. Poor second half from us.

    Ntcham made a difference.

This is the new reality – they are celebrating their mediocrity. We are annoyed when we don’t hammer them. In fact not hammering them is now like getting beat by them!

The real story for them should be that they may well skip another two points behind Aberdeen and Hibs could get two points nearer to them after failing to win today, but hey ho, let them have their moment of false hope.

We’ve stumbled in to the winter break and stayed well ahead of the pack, won a trophy, signed a centre back and made the Europa league. Not bad for a slump (and it is a wee bit of a slump). The break has arrived at the right time for us.

  7. What was that second half all about. Until Ntcham came on we had no presence in midfield. Thank goodness for Craig Gordon.

Ajer and Boyata were good too. Brown was the man in the first half, not so much in the second half.

  8. Poor passing from the off became infectious. Even Broonie eventually caught it. Ncham should have been on a lot earlier, Cal Mac done nothing all day. How CG saved that one with his leg was astounding. Young Ayer was solid at the back. Huns celebrated like it was a win.

  9. The harsh reality is both Levein and Murty have tactically outfought Brendan with inferior players.

Loyalty to underperformers is causing us this season .Time to freshen it up.

Midfield with two of the centre three lightweight ‘s is being outmuscled.

We failed to win one physical battle in second half same as at Hearts.

Boyata and Ajer only real success.

    Brown battles but is overworked.

KT looks tired.Maybe because Sinclair is not helping.

    Lustig was awful.

I felt sorry for Moussa as he had no service all day.

Forrest was like Bambi on ice.Who chooses our footwear as our players seem anything but sure footed at times this season.

The passing at the back put us under pressure all day due to them closing down and only Brown showing for ball. When it went back to Gordon he just hoofed it to them.

  10. Fair play to them.

They weren’t as bad as I thought they were.

    A draw was fair enough.

Not the best Celtic performance though.

I hope e they enjoy Dubai whilst us plebs Work our arses off and listen to orcs

Brendan started with wrong team and to leave McGregor and Armstrong in the pitch is a mistery

  12. Oh well tired end of year game. Sinclair and Forrest should have scored, Sevco with the point win the Treble and this summer’s World Cup we can only look on and wonder what might have been……

    C’mon the Hoops!

  13. Too many passengers today , looking a shadow of the team from last season, we started very shaky at the back and it didn’t improve, second half worse than the first , only players to get pass marks today CG & AJer, SB was loosing 50/50’s and that is not him, at least we didn’t lose to them.

  14. Glad CG is a shot stopper, less concerned about distribution. Brown Ajer special mentions with CG. Armstrong Calmac ne’er stopped trying. Sinclair Dembele missing. Lustig poor. Madden actuallyOK. Sky Sports commentary disgraceful. Disappointed but I’ve seen worse and we’ve no divine right. We’ll be back stronger.

  15. Well that was a s poor a second half as ive seen under BR.

Lustigs time is up. So poor, off the pace and his decision making was terrible.

  16. Back to work next week with all the L/pool fans saying BR — told you so.

He really needs to stop shopping in the Waitrose lactose free aisle and start sorting out the squad and their attitude.

  17. Well done to our heroic Bhoys for an absolutely fabulous Lisbon 50th anniversary year. A few of them may have appeared dead on their feet today, but this was the NINTH game in just 29 days, and the record of won 5, drew 2 (Hibs and Sevco) and lost 2 (Anderlecht and Hearts) in December was one that any other team in the country would have been well pleased with. And to come back from the shock capitulation against Hearts with four consecutive clean sheets was an achievement in itself.

Roll on 2018 and another treble… while anything in the Europa League will be a nice bonus.

  18. When we miss chances as we did when dominant the nature of the game changes .

I probably get more annoyed at them than the odd disaster at the back when playing it out.

The second half changed early on when we were attacking on the right but elected to go back the way. That let them pour forward into our half putting us under pressure and we never took control thereafter.

This talk of humping 5 0 etc is always bad news. It sets expectation levels too high. Football isn’t like that. A result can turn on anything and even had we scored in last minute you could not begrudge them a point for endeavour.

  19. Ajer was fantasy by the way. No way was Bates better than him.

For ant lurking orcs – enjoy your mediocrity. Enjoy celebrating a draw in paradise – it’s what fans of diddy teams do.

  20. Our bhoys looked like they were already in Dubai today. Let’s not get carried away worst teams than Sevco have drawn with us at Parkhead. That was their cup final and they still haven’t won a game against us in the last two years. We should have been at least one up at half time. Let’s see what we bring in in the still smiling.

  21. When I saw the team today I posted I was surprised at CALUM being selected after his recent form.

The lad didn’t let me down as he was ineffective all game.

The other player I mention pre game. AJER, had a really confident game.

On this showing he will go on to make the CB position his own.

  22. Fan-a-tic said:

” The harsh reality is both Levein and Murty have tactically outfought Brendan with inferior players.”

That, quite simply, is not `reality`. It is an opinion.

Haven`t seen the game so cannot comment on it. I can say, though, that Sevco are not as bad as many on here wish they were. I can also say we are not entitled to win every game.

If we played badly today, then nine games in December

  23. Murty not saying the right things there. He’s trying to talk himself out of a job – celtic Park ‘second to none’ he says!!! Oh dear. The orcs will be raging.

  24. Thank god Morelos is piss poor.

    He should have scored 3.

Gordon made two brilliant saves but a good striker makes the keeper irrelevant.

  25. ….might have been a factor. Let`s see how we perform in the next half of the seaso,

    JJ

  26. I slaughter other teams for thinking they are playing the old Rangers when they meet.Today,we did the exact same thing.Brendan must be tearing his hair out.Everything he has instilled into them since he came, thrown out the window today.Apart from Ajer,Boyatta,Broony,Gordon, the rest were poor.

Sinky, has been off for weeks, dont care what anyone says, today proved it.Jamesy, when you really want him up for it,lets you down.Armstrong,Calmac, run out of it.Lustig,pleeeeze,enough.Great servant, had his day.Griff, made no impression at all.Ntcham, excellent, when he came on.

These are the games that tells a manager what he needs to know.

As much as I hate to say it,they deserved the draw.Murty speaking well about Celtic Park in his interview.

  27. 16 roads - Celtic über alles... on

    Lucky enough.

The zombie probably deserved the win.

    Murty spoke well.

Time for change, time to spend.

    HH.

  28. HOT SMOKED

How can you say it is not reality when you admit you did not see?

We did not create one chance in second half today and Hearts was dreadful.

  29. My hands are frozen, so forgive typos.

    That was brutal football.

Lump it and chase football and we descended to their level.

Not the best, but we move on.
