Some great football specially second half. Stokes MOM for me also the wee terrier Johansen excellent and Biton playing alongside the imperious VVD. Felt sorry for Griffiths ,his goal was defo onside, he will score plenty.
Meanwhile KC’s 2 game goal drought continues, shocker!

Bringing in youth ..yes
But there are a number of first team players who have yet to prove themselves …Pukki, Balde, Boeriggter, Biton
Together with recent arrivals Johansen and Griffiths
Doctor Whatfor (14:49): “I take it that persistent fouling is no longer a bookable offense.”
Paradoxically, there were a total of just five fouls committed by no less than four Ayr United players during the second half of their match yesterday (three committed one foul each and the other player committed two fouls). All four players were booked.
It would be great to see some of the youth players come through, but for me the next game is all about not conceding a goal. I’d take a boring defensive 0-0 rather than losing the record to the Jam Farts. Keep the same team as today, assuming Izzy recovers, and get the record for a Celtic keeper.

Thought Biton was quietly impressive today.
There’s definitely something Connellyesque about the way he strolls about the midfield.
Well done to Neil and the boys. Anton, great three goals, contributions from everyone. Bitons three turns inside three St.J players was magic and very calm on the ball too! I hope Broonies injury isn’t serious he has been keeping this side ticking for awhile now with his drive and determination

Never ceases to amaze me. So many good things to talk about but the topic generating most comment is slagging off Derk. A couple of weeks ago ’twas Stokes, I remember when he made that break and didn’t lay it off, the abuse he got here was unbelievable. I’m sorry to say this but there are some shower of pricks posting here.

Being out of the country last weekend, I missed the Aberdeen game. From the various comments made, it appeared that the mid-field was not productive enough. What a change this Sunday. I thought Biton and Johansen were tremendous and were at the heart of everything that was good about the team today. Could anyone tell me if Johansen actually stopped running throughout the game? He appeared to be everywhere and put in some great tackles.
Congrats to Fraser Foster. While it is true he has two giants in front of him, he pulls out saves when necessary. So it is not just down to others that he is adding up the records week by week in the league. Well done, big mhan!
To Tom, I hope your difficult journey home is a safe one. I remembered your brother in prayer at the Grotto in Lourdes last weekend. You have been an example to us all of true brotherly love. God bless all of your family in days ahead.

Bemusing to watch a guy struggle who appears to have everything – skill, great feet, physique and pace; but no heart for the fight?
Time will tell but it may be another Samaras psychological TLC issue. Lenny could have his man-management skills put to the test a bit there.
Lay down the gauntlet Lenny and let fringe players know that youth will be coming in and to stake a place they will now have even more competition.

Just asking like.
Not a bad lad that Jordi Amat for Swansea as he smacks Naibalance square in the coupon and he has to come off.
Sub subbed, he he.

VVD might be too good for the SPFL but he is just the right calibre for Celtic. Let’s enjoy him and hang on to him as long as we can.
Great atmosphere at CP today.
”Taps aff”, as my daughter says, by the GB was hilarious! Then throwing the ”taps” up and down in unison. Very funny.

Meant to post earlier…bon voyage Tom. Your brother is in good hands.
Three brilliantly taken goals by Stokesy and a good strong performance in midfield by Biton.
Good solid Celtic win.I’m convinced if Biton had been in midfield last week we would still be in the Cup.
Its a Cork phrase ryecatcher but in Cork they would be called a shower of langers.
Naibalance recovered and stays on damn.
Just back from a sun soaked if rather chilly Celtic Park.
In Biton we have a star in the making. He was faultless today and oozes class.
Lets see a long run in the team now.
