CELTIC’S 10 IN A ROW BID KICKS OFF AGAINST ACCIES

1

CELTIC will kick off their bid for the record-breaking 10 successive titles against Hamilton Accies at Parkhead on Sunday, August 2.

Neil Lennon’s side will also get their opportunity to avenge last season’s only home league defeat when Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox outfit play in the east end of Glasgow on Saturday, October 17.

The opening fixture against Brian Rice’s Accies team will have a 4.30pm start and the champions will remember it took a goal deep in stoppage time from Scott Brown to give them a 2-1 victory over the visitors on December 4.

The Hoops then face Kilmarnock at Rugby Park and St Mirren in Paisley.

They are also due to play at Ibrox on January 2 and another at Celtic Park on March 20 before the split which is scheduled for the same date.

Scotland’s title kings’ last league game was the 5-0 home win against St Mirren where Leigh Griffiths claimed a hat-trick with Odsonne Edouard and Callm McGregor also on target.
