Yes , and inspired keeping by big FF at the penalty prevented a Copenhagen victory. Funny old game-))

  2. Vogue, just think it can be awkward. A goal doesn’t really change the tie as one for the away side means extra time but as you say better than nil – nil but 2-2 would have been better.

  3. Watching the game Elyanoussi not in the game,Copenhagen are there for the taking ,I would have ,and I’m not a coach,Game was crying out for another striker, first half we should have been 3/0 up,but that’s what happens at times, anyway I’m sure we will beat them next week, hopefully .

  4. Canamalar it looks like OCD obsession on

    Doc,

Your easy satisfied, as I said too many thought they could just throw the jerseys on the pitch.

Terrible decision making by Forrest robbed us of opportunities as well as a waste of space defensively didn’t even get in the road of their attacks down the left.

  5. C’mon ghuys, wee should be supporting scoddish teams in Europe.

    Shouldn’t we?

    LMFAO

  6. Win, lose or draw, there’s always a certain amount of excitement on here after the final whistle.

How reassuring, then, to see Jobo pop on with his MOTM reminder. Truly, a calming influence amongst all of the usual madness.

(and I very much include myself in that madness!)

Maybe we should cool the talk of Gdansk , that second half showed there is still a vulnerability about us even against the more modest European teams.

    No bad thing

  8. when we made our subs we seemed to lose all our positional sense and looked like nobody knew where they were playing , we started to continually hump the ball from the back and losing possession ,oh my days just seen a magnificent goal from barga.

  9. Canamalar, not entirely satisfied, I thought we could have been well in front, said that earlier.

But Copenhagen did raise their game and came at us second half, again, as I said, we were authors of our own problems, but 1-1 away from home, not a terrible result. Poor performance in the second half, yes, but we still had the better chances. CalMac, Forrest, Odsonne all with guilt edge chances, other than the goal and pen, don’t remember Fraser having a save to make. Happy to take this team back to CP and finishing the job there.

So not entirely happy with the second half, but I would have taken the result prior to the game, and we threatened their goal, even ion the second half.

Well , they always wanted a floating pitch .

BTW doesn’t Rob McLean get fair excited when commenting on Sevco in Europe!

Proper game of football with both going for the win………..chances galore missed/wasted but will happily take the draw into the return leg.

Jullien ; man of the match

  12. That pitch inspection must hav been a close call…looks like the type of bog am accused of being a trotter over ;-))

BBC – ‘stuttering Copenhagen offer Celtic hope’ fughinzeeoffbitte. we could have score 5

  14. Frimpong struggled. We missed Brooney when he came off, N’tcham was at fault for goal but apart from that we played ourselves into trouble a few times trying to be too clever playing out from the back.

Julien was absolutely outstanding, a funny game we created a dozen more chances than them but at the end were lucky to get the draw.

We have to be realistic, a score draw away from home is a great result. we are in the driving seat.

Hopefully the Griff & Elhamed are available for next week.

Frimpong is a worry when we are under pressure.

You’ll be glad we kept it to 1-2.

Your as bad as the beeb!

  16. Tough game for us that.

Chances taken in the first half when they were there for the taking and we are talking about a totally different game.

What we need to appreciate is that we normally do not have to defend for long periods in our own league.

Pen was very harsh in my opinion with the new handball laws we here in Canada are just about to implement.

The players did very well to hang in there as it was all too easy to feel sorry for ourselves and crumble.

I am happy with a score draw and believe we can take this mob next week.

    Once a Celt….Always a Celt.

    Hail Hail.

  17. “oh the bin bags are blue!”

“Oh the bin bags are blue!”

    That pitch…….??????

That’s what happens when you have no money to spend on infrastructure, or players, or strips, or trophies, or stewards, or facepainters.

Just enough to pay a hack.

Hee-hee (in a Michael Jackson pitch)

  18. Pen was a stick on using VAR, yellow card was harsh it wasnt deliberate, Chrisite is now out of the home tie.

  19. This Braga keeper needs to be careful, ccan see him miss timing and either gettin sent off of letting them in for a goal
