   Dunno if the BBC are watching the same game as me, but they have DU with 52% possession in the first half. I can barely remember them having the ball since the 5th minute!

    

    

   I guess they are counting all the goalmouth scrambles, off-the-line clearances and saves as “possession”.

   I started counting the obvious (to me) cheating decisions from the start of the game, so far I have counted 6 that (I think) have made a difference to the run of play.

    

    

   I will continue the count irrespective of the result, the count was not and is not connected with the result just a wee project.

   Some thoughts on first half…

    

    

   See improvement each week… Getting closer, but something is still missing… Think it might be a bit of confidence with the ball … Hopefully, over the season, that will come

    

    

   We aren’t creating enough chances, so our front guys (including SJ) need to be more efficient in front of goal. Time to give a finisher a run. griffiths should be given more than 5 minutes.

    

    

   Also, think scepovic is suited to this style of game. he could do us a turn today.

    

    

   AS and izzy link well, but linking as well with other players

    

   JF looks like he could make something happen, but he and AM don’t seem to be a good fit on the right

    

    

   SB creates little in the middle, but will never be dropped, so NB needs to grab the game by the scruff and become the on field General we need. He has the skill to do it… Does he have the attitude? Bid second half coming up for NB I believe

   Watching the first half overall, we’re certainly improving under RD …..bit to go yet, though, and a few players missing…..Denayer and Lustig would have made all the difference in that first half

    Gifting them a goal (and believe me Inter don’t defend like that) has given them something to hold on to, so the earlier we score the equaliser the better.

     

     

    Otherwise I can see us rushing things in front of goal and on a blustery day composure is required.

    Poor defemding at goal, good lead up work but not good finishing and a winger who comes inside insteading of trying to beat his man. Very typical

     

     

    I think the penalty claim was you shout for but I would imagine we will have a stronger claim coming up. Would not be sure it will be given though
