    “big hoose?”

Where did you get that expression from? (Ulstur Scotch for Stately Home.)

On another note.Could you stop using your backside to illustrate your politics!

A good summatation on the projected finances re players sold.

What we will be told is the wages on top of the buy.

Of which I don’t buy into.

Sometimes you have to speculate to accumulate.

I’m over the moon with LG and posted earlier on the positions that need strengthened, if we qualify and sell virgil of which is a done deal.

I would be more than disappointed if we bring in hopefulls, rather than tried and tested.

Let’s not kid ourselves, the rats are coming out the sewers, we have to be prepared, if not, a heavy backlash is in the waiting from all angles.

    The board…get your finger out.

  6. Less than 50 % of Catholics in Ulster want to be part of the Dead Celtic Tiger…..

Tony the Tiger was a myth…….

    Discuss?

  7. Guys, I am not an accountant and have no idea as to the financial machinations going on behind the closed boardroom doors of CP. But as a fan, and shareholder, I want to see a decent amount of money reinvested in the team. That doesn’t mean I am all for reckless spending. Which we have been guilty of by signing so many ‘alleged’ prospects. But to a lowly rank and file Tim an outlay of £8mill or so from a potential amount of +£22 million doesn’t sound like an overly great amount of money to spend strengthening the team.

Should we make the group stages and should Virgil leave I wonder what the boards soundbite will be this time for keeping the lid on the biscuit tin firmly shut. Preparing for ‘Warbies’ Galacticos’ next season perhaps!

Based on Last game I’m having a shilling on 2-2

Basel 2002 – this time with a happy ending

  10. No contingency liability on Celtic accounts, no loan to be repaid, no overdraft anymore, no desire to grow further, just moaning about how much television money others get, we should continue to grow and diversify the club to maximise every possible revenue source, hh

  11. Gerryfaethebrig on

    Tuesday night…..

Last Wednesday 3-1 would have been great…. 3-2 isn’t as great but still in a winning position

Got a feeling Craig Gordon will make sure it’s Malmo 0, sometimes Celtic park can effect the players, at 2-0 we as fans thought 3 or 4 and that’s us there, probably the same as the players, in Sweden I can envisage the same as Qarbag, but a lot more nervous, Malmo have to win we don’t, we are actually a better team when the opposition have to open up and come at us……

Stuff that quietly confident….. Confident !

  12. BOBBY MURDOCH'S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS on

    SIPSINI 1003

Indeed, mate. They throw in the cost of the wages for any prospective new signing, but ignore those saved by selling a player.

Btw,I read earlier that Big Vic is refusing a new deal at Southampton. Do we have a sell-on clause?

Less than 50% of catholics in ulster want to be part of the ” dead celtic tiger” ??

Well considering approx 40% of catholics in ulster already live in the irish Republic that is interesting

  14. 16 roads - Celtic über alles... on

You get that with some former British soldiers whom have been on tour here – they leave, but in their own minds they never leave, and become somewhat obsessed – for one reason or another.

The vast majority just got out in one piece, thanked their lucky stars and forget all about it.

    No big deal really.

We are all friends now anyway.

33% of Ulster counties already in the Republic

Don’t know or care what % are RC in those counties

Methinks you may be confusing religion and political alignment

If that is the basis of your argument, you might want to re-check your numbers

  16. Rudi.

Given that statistic, the Brits and the unionists should campaign on a once in a lifetime referendum.

Do you want a united Ireland.

    I bet they don’t.

  17. Rudi…

I’m still trying to work out if your a hun or a politically planted puppet.

Ok I’ll bite, people believed in a a dream that the arse fell out off, same as a lot of countries, why attack the Celtic tiger? When others have failed.

We both know the German economy is holding Europe to ransom, us included.

If you you don’t produce to sell, then the game is up.

I am sure we have 20% sell on with big Vic, also sell on with Fraser and previously with Ki

That PL is always chasing that bonus of his

  19. First Lady Lisa Commons to be jumping up and down and signing on Tuesday night, as her husband Kris Commons’s goals see us through to the Champions League Group stages.

    You read it here first.

Bobby M – Never ate tripe in my life mate. I used to feed the stuff to the dogs, they ate it no problem. I’m certain that the dogs would have preferred a bit of fillet steak though.

Haggis, liver, kidneys – same old story.

It’s understandable working class people years ago had very little food, there was nothing else.

I have only ever voted once in 27+ years of being able to vote, and it was a YES vote, if the SNP really fancy independence trick English people into a referendum it’s a pretty easy ploy

By the way I voted YES but never have and never will vote SNP

The de regulation of the American banking system started by Reagan in the 80s was the root cause of the crash worldwide which had a devastating affect on the economy of the Irish Republic.

Of course plenty of Telegraph readers like to buy into the notion that” those feckless paddies couldn’t govern themselves”

  23. Didn’t Wee Alex Salmond praise the success of Ireland’s Celtic Tiger and use it as an example of how a future indy Scotland could flourish. We all make mistakes I guess :-)
