The old swan? My first pub, aged 16. Don’t tell polis scotland. Hiding in a corner as my big (tall; age 17; gallus) mate ordered. A pint of heavy (tartan special) please. I don’t think I’ve been in since. Time to go back.

“big hoose?”
Where did you get that expression from? (Ulstur Scotch for Stately Home.)
On another note.Could you stop using your backside to illustrate your politics!
A good summatation on the projected finances re players sold.
What we will be told is the wages on top of the buy.
Of which I don’t buy into.
Sometimes you have to speculate to accumulate.
I’m over the moon with LG and posted earlier on the positions that need strengthened, if we qualify and sell virgil of which is a done deal.
I would be more than disappointed if we bring in hopefulls, rather than tried and tested.
Let’s not kid ourselves, the rats are coming out the sewers, we have to be prepared, if not, a heavy backlash is in the waiting from all angles.
The board…get your finger out.

Guys, I am not an accountant and have no idea as to the financial machinations going on behind the closed boardroom doors of CP. But as a fan, and shareholder, I want to see a decent amount of money reinvested in the team. That doesn’t mean I am all for reckless spending. Which we have been guilty of by signing so many ‘alleged’ prospects. But to a lowly rank and file Tim an outlay of £8mill or so from a potential amount of +£22 million doesn’t sound like an overly great amount of money to spend strengthening the team.
Should we make the group stages and should Virgil leave I wonder what the boards soundbite will be this time for keeping the lid on the biscuit tin firmly shut. Preparing for ‘Warbies’ Galacticos’ next season perhaps!

Tuesday night…..
Last Wednesday 3-1 would have been great…. 3-2 isn’t as great but still in a winning position
Got a feeling Craig Gordon will make sure it’s Malmo 0, sometimes Celtic park can effect the players, at 2-0 we as fans thought 3 or 4 and that’s us there, probably the same as the players, in Sweden I can envisage the same as Qarbag, but a lot more nervous, Malmo have to win we don’t, we are actually a better team when the opposition have to open up and come at us……
Stuff that quietly confident….. Confident !

Btw,I read earlier that Big Vic is refusing a new deal at Southampton. Do we have a sell-on clause?

You get that with some former British soldiers whom have been on tour here – they leave, but in their own minds they never leave, and become somewhat obsessed – for one reason or another.
The vast majority just got out in one piece, thanked their lucky stars and forget all about it.
