Managed to watch the last 15 minutes of the first half. Saw persistent fouling by Hamilton with no warnings never mind a yellow card. Boyata makes a great challenge – straight red without consulting the linesman.

Up against it now. Accies forward offside. Too many hiding and playing across the park. Broony poor. Keeper has saved us. Their keeper, nothing to do. Our record down to 10 has not been good. Bring on Roberts to hold the ball and create some chances.
See even if the law did say the ball has to change direction, the replay shows that Boyatta’s touch sends the ball backwards, but it hit’s the Hamilton player’s foot and ricochets forward. However, if the referee didn’t see that, he must have seen the ball immediately travels forward with an increased speed. So much so, that the keeper is getting the ball even if the player stays on his feet.
However, the overall context is that this is Craig Thompson going about his work in the usual fashion. His inconsistency in applying the rules meant that Imrie wasn’t booked for the penalty, despite several other prior fouls, and then committed another immediately afterwards up at the halfway line. Still wasn’t booked
When Boyota got his red it made me think of Boghera and his wink to the bench.

Been watching Celtic for 50 years and I do not recognise this as a Celtic team. Traditionally, we do our thing and they worry about us. For ages now, we worry about them and aim to counteract. In this league we should revert to Plan A – do our thing. We’ll beat this mob tonight and we’ll win this league.
