    We are still waiting , about 14 years now , for Hearts to name their fan(s) who hit Rab Douglas with coins at a game there.

     

     

    Very little focus will be made on the St Johnstone players boxing or the behaviour of the Gorgie Gargoyles today in relation to the attention Neil has faced for a less serious incident.

    *this beat the deid teams domestic record of 1992/93 where a defeat up at dens park set them off unbeaten in Scotland, including 5 draws, until we beat them 2-1 in the kick off while we are still celebrating game.

    Superb wee bit of skill and composure from him on the halfway line in the 2nd half.

     

    Weighed up his options, held onto the ball drew a jambo in and at the same time pulled him out of position then nutmegged him with a wee pass for Lustig to move onto.

     

    He got slammed on his back with a late challenge in the process and the hearts player should have got a yellow for it.

     

    Not sur if he had already been booked and the mib decided to ignore it.

     

    Lovely wee bit of footy though :)

    Just watched the first half there, can’t believe i got the times mixed up

     

    with the clocks changing, anyhow it was a wonderful display of fast

     

    attacking football despite some agricultural tactics from the usual

     

    suspects and no way am i blaming the Guinness for my ineptitude :-))

    up there in Queensland, the aftermath with all the flooding etc is so

    With a bit of shrewd investment on a couple of “Champions League” players as Brendan stated on Sky, we could be domestically dominant for a good few years yet.

     

     

    Let’s hope for a big turnout for Wednesday night’s Glasgow Derby against in-form Jags. Maybe a few changes to freshen up the team without taking the foot off the gas.

     

     

    We could soon see a fresh Tom Rogic plus our 2 main strikers back in action too – plus Kouassi, “Wee” Dembele, the young strikers and one or two more from the Development squad who might feature before season end.

     

     

    But in true Celtic style it’s one game at a time, no mention of the “ T ” word and then next season it’s going for “7 in a row” and a place at the Champions League table. Great time to be a Tim !

    My Da passed away days before Martin lifted the league cup on the 1st leg of the treble.

     

    It’s days like today I enjoy so much knowing how he would have loved seeing it.

     

    watched the match with my grandson ,what a joy it is being a Tim especially on days like today,we are living in special times enjoy every second of them.

    When the usual suspects in the media, especially Talkcrap and Sky, belittle our achievement due to our supposed inferior league, remember in Germany Bayern will win 5 in a row, in France PSG may win 5 in a row, in Italy Juve will win 6 in a row, in Switzerland Basel will win 8 in a row, in Croatia Dinamo Zagreb will win 12 in a row and in Belarus BATE will win 12 in a row this season.

     

    Having a dominant team isn’t unique to one country and doesn’t stop the dominant team performing in the CL, something most in the land of milk and honey will never see.

    What a great day for every Celtic Supporter. I have lived to see 29 league titles won. When I consider that I was privileged to be in the Estadio on 25th May 1967, I recognise that I have been very fortunate and blessed in these years. Of course, I lived through the rough times when we were cheated out of trophies, But I can stand tall and boast that I have had the honour to know so many great players, and managers,and above all I have been part of something very special, the Celtic family.

     

     

    Thanks Brendan and your staff for this addition to our many honours. To the players my thanks and I add, you will never find what you are experiencing in any other club.

    What a way to win a Title, Hopefully those goals will be shown worldwide. There was always a worry that being so far ahead the day we won it might be a bit of an anti climax.

     

    I was delighted that Aberdeen won on Friday night, that allowed us our day & now today a great memory has been planted in our minds & hearts that we will always remember.

     

    A Title won with style & conviction, playing football The Glasgow Celtic way.

    I do not see any listing on Sky for highlights of the Celtic game today when we clinched the title,they are however showing highlights of Ajax and Feyenoord, their pain is palpable.

    That hurtin Hun McCann couldn’t wait to talk about Brendan leaving as soon as the final whistle went. Now, he would probably have been told that Brendan was on his way to that studio for an interview, why didn’t he ask Brendan to his face ?
